FORMING ASSEMBLY FOR BODYMAKER AND BODYMAKER INCLUDING SAME
A forming assembly for use in a can bodymaker includes a stationary assembly and a moving assembly movably coupled to the stationary assembly. The stationary assembly and the moving assembly are a unified assembly that is structured to be selectively coupled to a mounting assembly body of the can bodymaker. The moving assembly is structured to be selectively coupled to a ram drive assembly of the can bodymaker and moved with respect to the stationary assembly thereby.
REDRAW ASSEMBLY FOR BODYMAKER
A redraw assembly for a can bodymaker includes a frame and a hold down piston moveably coupled to the frame so as to be slidable with respect thereto. The hold down piston is structured to have a blank holder coupled thereto for engaging and securing a cup adjacent an opening of a die pack. The redraw assembly further includes a cam disk engaged with the hold down piston and moveably coupled to the frame so as to be readily rotatable about a rotation axis and a motor having an output shaft coupled to the cam disk. The motor is structured to selectively rotate the cam disk about the rotation axis. The hold down piston is movable among a first positioning and a second positioning dependent on the positioning of the cam disk.

Cam Driven Multi-Output Bodymaker
A can bodymaker includes a mounting assembly and a forming system. The forming system includes a plurality of forming assemblies, each forming assembly coupled to the mounting assembly, each forming assembly including a ram assembly with an elongated ram body, and a ram drive assembly operatively coupled to each forming assembly. The ram drive assembly is a direct ram drive assembly.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CAN EXPANSION
An expansion tool for expanding an article. The expansion tool includes a lead-in portion extending outwardly from a first end of the expansion tool and a first pilot portion extending from the lead-in portion. The first pilot portion has a first diameter. The expansion tool further includes a second pilot portion being generally parallel with the first pilot portion. The second pilot portion has a second diameter larger than the first diameter. The expansion tool further includes a forming portion bridging the first pilot portion and the second pilot portion. The forming portion is generally sloped. The expansion tool further includes an expansion portion extending from the second pilot portion toward a second end of the expansion tool. The expansion portion has a third diameter larger than the second diameter.

Drive assembly
A drive assembly for a necker machine includes a plurality of motors, each motor including an output shaft, a plurality of drive wheel assemblies, each drive wheel assembly operatively coupled to an associated necker machine drive shaft, and a number of timing/drive belts operatively coupled to each drive wheel assembly.
DOUBLE SEAM MODIFICATION TOOLING APPARATUS AND DOUBLE SEAM MODFICATION PROCESS
The present application is directed to a double seam modification tooling apparatus for double seam modification and the double seam modification process. More particularly, a tooling apparatus for double seam modification is provided which adds a third modification operation to the first and second double seam operations which form the finished double seam, as well as a process for modifying double seams to include patterns of integral slots, notches or threads, or the like, after the double seams have been previously completely formed by the double seam modification tooling apparatus. Child resistant lids can then be configured with mating tab notches or tab threads to allow for opening or closing the lid when the tabs are properly aligned with the notches and threads on the can rim modified double seams.
