Rolling element bearing cage with supporting frame and reinforcing frame
The invention relates to a rolling element bearing cage formed of one or more segments, each segment comprising: a supporting frame having a plurality of spaced apart openings each for accommodating a rolling element; and a reinforcing frame, inserted within the supporting frame, having a corresponding plurality of openings each for aligning with the openings of the supporting frame.

Adjustable spacer with hardened ends
An adjustable spacer with hardened end portions and a non-hardened intermediate portion therebetween is mountable between a pair of roller bearings also mounted on a shaft such an axle or spindle or the like. The hardened material contacts the faces of the roller bearings but helps prevent wear therebetween and unwanted movement of the bearings on the shaft. The unhardened material allows the spacer to collapse in the axial direction to maintain desired axial loads on the bearings.

Thrust roller bearing cage and method for manufacturing the same
A thrust roller bearing cage (11) includes a thrust roller bearing (20) and a plurality of pockets (21) accommodating rollers (13). The thrust roller bearing cage (11) includes: a radially outer area bent portion (41) formed by bending an area located radially outside the pockets (21) inward in a radial direction; and projecting portions (44) that are formed in a tip end of the radially outer area bent portion (41) at positions aligned with the pockets (21) and project inward in the radial direction beyond radially outer edges of the pockets (21) so as to contact end faces (16) of the rollers (13) accommodated in the pockets (21). The projecting portions (44) have a width that is or more and or less of the width of the pockets (21).

SLEW-ACTUATED PIERCING OF RADIAL WALL
A slew-actuated stamping station includes an expandable core configured to apply radially outward pressure to a radially inward facing surface of a radial wall, and at least one slew-actuated punch for piercing, along a radially inward direction, a respective hole in the radial wall. A method for piercing a radial wall includes simultaneously (a) applying radially outward pressure against a radially inward facing surface of the radial wall, and (b) driving a slew to actuate at least one punch to pierce, along direction opposite the radially outward pressure, at least one hole in the radial wall. A method for forming an object, having a radial wall with holes, includes forming a ring with a radial wall, and piercing at least one hole in the radial wall with at least one slew-actuated punch.
Roller bearing cage with tangs
The invention relates to a roller bearing cage comprising: a first annular ring; a second annular ring; at least one retainer portion attaching the first annular ring to the second annular ring to form the first and second annular rings in a cylinder-type structure; and a plurality of resilient tangs on each of the first and second annular rings, each tang protruding from the circumference of the respective annular ring at an angle with respect to the plane of the respective annular ring and toward the other annular ring.
