Apparatuses and methods for extracting chemicals from bodily cavities and breath
A chemical extraction apparatus has absorbent material for absorbing or adsorbing volatile chemicals from a breath of a user. The chemical extraction apparatus is positioned within such that breaths from the user flow over the absorbent material thereby causing volatile chemicals in the breaths to absorb or adsorb into the absorbent material. The absorbent material is then analyzed to determine the amount of chemicals absorbed or adsorbed into the absorbent material. Based on such analysis, various diseases or conditions can be detected or diagnosed.
Adhesive attachment device for pacifiers
An adhesive attachment device including a pacifier, a strap assembly and an adhesive attachment assembly. A distal end of the strap assembly is connected to the pacifier. Another distal end of the strap assembly is connected to a hook attachment of the adhesive attachment. The adhesive attachment has a first side having an attachment hook and a second side having a layer of an adhesive. Adhesive can be reapplied to the second side of the adhesive attachment for using multiple times the adhesive attachment assembly. The second side of the adhesive attachment assembly is removably secured to an article of clothing of a user.
Pacifier with onboard drop sensor and notifications
A baby pacifier having a means to sense when it is dropped from an infant's mouth. The invention being comprised of a conventional, flexible pacifier with an onboard drop sensor therein. When the pacifier is dropped and contacts the ground or floor, the device senses the resulting vibration and sends a small audible sound along with a flash from a light emitting diode (LED) to notify the parent it has been dropped. Other embodiments of the invention can include different forms of notifications when they are droppedfor example, some can vibrate; some can activate when hearing a parents voice, a baby's cry, or to clapping. Still other embodiments allow parents to customize their own sound notifications when the device is dropped. An object of the invention is to minimize lost pacifiers by getting a parent's attention when the pacifier falls from an infant's mouth so they can recover it.
Artificial Teat
The present invention resides in the soothing of infants, particularly soothing from persistent crying in distressed but healthy infants using an artificial teat having a neck and a head, wherein the head is solid. The teat has particular use for the normalisation of cranial rhythmic impulses in such infants.
PACIFIER FOR INFANTS
The present invention relates to a pacifier for infants used to comfort infants. More specifically, a silicone tube body (10), into which or from which air can be injected or discharged such that an infant feels the silicone tube body like a breast of the infant's mother when touching the silicone tube body, is coupled for use to a nipple-shaped nipple unit (50) by a secure coupling unit (30), and thus, due to the infant's touching of the silicone tube body, not only emotional security as if the infant were in the bosom of the infant's mother can be provided but also the development of the infant's brain can be beneficially stimulated, in comparison with traditional plastic pacifiers. Particularly, the nipple unit is not only simply coupled but also hermetically coupled by the secure coupling unit to a coupling ring formed at the front of the silicone tube body, and the silicone tube body has a valve through which air is smoothly injected or discharged, and thus the product not only can be assembled and taken apart for use but also provides great confidence and convenience of using air injection. In addition, when air is injected into the silicone tube body, the tube body is inflated not upward but downward so as to be prevented from blocking out the forward field of view of the infant sucking on the pacifier, and thus psychological security is more greatly provided for the infant.

ORAL ENGAGEMENT INSTRUMENTS, RETAINER SYSTEMS, AND USES THEREOF
Provided herein are novel instruments for oral engagement with mammals (e.g., toddlers, pets, or people with special needs), such as for relieving infant or toddler sucking stress (e.g., pacifiers, teething rings, and pet toys), which contain an adhesive material positioned in an interior area of the instrument and that allows the instrument to be securely attached to a support device comprising a counter-adhesive material with a strength that maintains the suspended position of the instrument (prevents falling), but also releases to the instrument upon application of a manual physical force (e.g., pull) of the user; as well as related systems and methods.
Adaptive Audio Therapy System
An adaptive audio therapy system which detects and processes one or more individuals' conditions to provide adaptive, continuous audio therapy in real-time. The adaptive audio therapy system generally includes a detection device that is typically in physical contact with an individual, such as a pacifier or steering wheel. The detection device may include sensors to detect various conditions of the individual, such as heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, and the like. A computing device receives and processes the various conditions detected by the sensors. Based on the detected conditions, the computing device provides audio therapy which is adaptive to the condition of the patient and which is continuously adapted in real-time.

The handle extends from the first side of the shield and defines a longitudinal axis. UTILIZATION OF INFANT ACTIVATED AUDIO PLAYER
One aspect of the present disclosure include a method of utilizing an oro-motor device to activate an audio device, the method includes providing an oro-motor device having a sensor and a nipple; producing a signal when the nipple portion present in an infants mouth when the nipple portion yields a first measured pressure over an age appropriate predetermined threshold applied to the nipple portion by the infant; responsive to the signal, playing an age appropriate audio recording for a predetermined duration on an audio device; and raising the age appropriate predetermined threshold to a raised threshold proportionally to a difference between the first measured pressure application to the nipple portion and the age appropriate predetermined threshold.
