Medication dosage dispensing system and methods having customization and modification for medicine dispensing configurations
A device for monitoring and correction of a functional condition of a human body on the basis of measurement of thresholds of temperature painful sensitivity (TPS) of acupuncture points (AP). The device includes a diagnostics and treatment module, a control and communication block and a server, connected by bi-directional data channels. The module includes a handle with an autonomous power unit and a means of reception/transmission. The module is supplied by an element of thermal influence on AP in the form of an infrared LED connected to a current generator, a radiation indicator, a switch, inputs/outputs and a microcontroller. The control and communication includes a mobile phone or a computer of the patient with a related function of data reception/transmission, display of the data and control of the module, by means of inputting of a resident program. The handle serves as the peripheral indicator of a condition and the device of influence with the low price for the patient, and all processing of the address individual information of each patient is assigned to the server.
Medication container encoding, verification, and identification
A medication container encoding, verification and identification method is provided that includes receiving data characterizing a medication, generating an identifier encapsulating the data and applying an identifier to a medication container such that it is automatically readable by a medication device. Related apparatus, systems, methods and articles are also described.
Pivoting cap with locking mechanism for medication dispenser
A pivoting cap with locking mechanism for medication dispenser including a male and a female cap assembly secured by a pivot assembly. The male cap assembly is secured on top of a medication dispenser such as prescription bottles. The male cap assembly includes a locking arm with a locking lever attached to a bottom portion thereof, and a top portion. The female cap assembly includes a rotating cap having channels internally disposed. When assembled, the locking arm is received by one of the channels, thereby impeding said rotating cap from turning either direction. To free the rotating cap, a user must apply a radial force upon the lock arm, consequently the locking lever will be displaced inwardly. The user would then twist to move the cap to its respective indicia for its desired scheduling or to their dispensing opening.
System and Method of Controlling Access to Medication with an Interactive Vial
Systems and methods for controlling access to a medication include an interactive vial communicatively connected to an offsite server storing an artificial intelligence model. The interactive vial includes a housing configured to receive and store the medication prescribed for a patient and a controllable lock configured to inhibit access into the housing for a period of time. The offsite server includes a processor configured to execute the at least one artificial intelligence model to generate a patient report, wherein executing the at least one artificial intelligence model comprises: parsing through the patient database to locate data associated with the patient; and inputting the data associated with the patient into a patient report workflow to generate the patient report.
Ready-to-sell packaging unit containing at least one pharmaceutical product, set including a plurality of such packaging units and method for producing such packaging unit
The packaging unit includes an inner enclosure (11) within which is contained each said pharmaceutical product (12), a patient or health care professional information leaflet (13) and outer enclosure (14) including: a first outer enclosure (15) within which is contained said inner enclosure (11); anda second outer enclosure (16) within which is contained said first outer enclosure (15) and said information leaflet (13); said second outer enclosure (16) being provided with labelling features; said second outer enclosure having an opening (37) arranged so that traceability and anti-counterfeiting features are visible through said opening (37).
Gender Specific Implant and Packaging
A system of prosthetic implants for a total knee replacement procedure is provided. The system includes a tibial component of a knee joint implant, a tibial insert configured to be positioned against the superior side of the platform of the tibial component, a first femoral component of a knee joint implant, and a second femoral component of a knee joint implant.
Intravenous Bag with Positive Insignia
An IV bag is adapted with positive insignia on empty spaces to provide some positive energy, thoughts, and even laughter and happiness to a patient who is receiving IV fluids from the bag. Such insignia can help improve a patient's mental mindset, encourage, spread positivity, and ultimately improve patient outcomes-backed by proven research. Insignia can include graphics, printed text, etc. The insignia on the IV bags may be printed during the manufacturing process along with the typical functional information printed on the IV bag. The printed insignia may be comprised of a variety of colors to take away from the dull printed matter currently on the IV bags. The positive insignia may be printed before, after, or contemporaneously with the printing of the generic informational insignia. Sales of the IV bags can be donated to foundations that, for example, provide financial assistance to underserved communities.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RADIALLY COMPRESSIBLE BLOW-FILL-SEAL (BFS) DEVICES
Systems and methods for Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) vials configured to expel a desired quantity of medicament in response to a designed range of radially inward squeeze-force applications received via a compressible fluid reservoir.
Capsule marking device and method
A capsule marking device 1 includes: a conveying unit 2 that conveys a capsule C along a conveyance path 2a; a first imaging unit 30 that captures an image of the capsule C being conveyed, to obtain first imaging data; a marking unit 40 that performs marking on the capsule C being conveyed; and a control unit that sets a marking region on the capsule C on the basis of the first imaging data, and forms a marking pattern in the marking region by controlling the operation of the marking unit 40. The capsule marking device 1 further includes a separating unit 60 that selectively separates the capsule C being conveyed from the conveyance path 2a, and the control unit controls the operation of the separating unit 60 to separate the capsule C having a seam with a size equal to or larger than a predetermined reference size in the marking region in the first imaging data without forming a marking pattern.
Dosage tracking apparatus
One embodiment is an assembly comprising a tracking mechanism comprising an hour indicator and a day indicator; a strap retention structure coupled to a back side of the tracking mechanism; and a flexible strap connected to the back side of the tracking mechanism by the strap retention structure, the flexible strap configured to encircle a container to removably attach the tracking mechanism to a side of the container.
