TREATING DENTAL CARIES
A method includes introducing an encapsulation material through an opening, such as a decay hole or porosity, in a tooth, the encapsulating material reaching and at least partially encapsulating caries in the tooth.
BONE BIOACTIVE COMPOSITION AND USES THEREOF
A bone bioactive composition and kits comprising the composition, means for applying it and/or a metal implant are provided. The bone bioactive composition comprises a water-based salt solution comprising sodium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium chloride, and may also comprise additional elements. The composition and the kits are useful for promoting osteogenesis, particularly when a metal implant is used but also in case of periodontal diseases.
Oral Care Composition Having Enhanced Appearance and Form
Provided is an oral care composition and methods of making and using the same. The composition may include an orally acceptable vehicle, including pectin in an amount of from about 0.1% to about 1% by weight, an anticaries agent; and a moisturizing agent.
Temporary tooth repair/treatment composition and methods of use thereof
A method that includes the step of using a person's fingers to push a dental composition into engagement with a damaged tooth surface of a damaged tooth thereby adhering the dental composition to the damaged tooth surface and covering at least a portion of the damaged tooth surface. The dental composition includes a base material comprising at least one of the following compounds chosen from the group consisting of: a product consisting of one or more hydrocarbon-based waxes that may also include inorganic fillers and/or organic fillers; an uncured, uncrosslinked silicone high consistency rubber base; and a hydrophobic water insoluble solid material. The base material has a coating composition on one or more surface of the base material wherein the coating composition comprises: one or more desensitization ingredient and at least one dry, powdered hydrophilic polymeric substance.

DENTAL POLYMERIZATION KIT
A dental polymerization kit is used to polymerize a non-acidic monomer having no acidic group and having an ethylenic unsaturated group in dental treatment. The dental polymerization kit includes an A agent containing an acidic substance and a B agent containing a transition metal compound and a reducing agent and being in the form of a liquid or a paste. The transition metal compound is solid in the B agent and soluble in the acidic substance.

SHELF LIFE AND COLOR PROFILE OF RESIN COMPOSITIONS WITH SILVER NANOPARTICLES
Methods of forming antimicrobial resin compositions comprising silver nanoparticles are disclosed, wherein the resin compositions that are generated exhibit lower initial color, reduced color shift upon storage and reduced levels of spontaneous polymerization. Such methods generally comprise: combining a silver-containing material with a self-cure and dual-cure base resin in situ wherein the base resin does not contain a catalytic amine; and adding a catalytic resin to the mixture of the resin and silver-containing material in order to form the final cured resin. Antimicrobial polymeric materials formed by said methods are also disclosed.
METHOD OF PREPARING DENTITION FOR THE TAKING OF A DENTAL IMPRESSION
A method of taking a dental impression of dentition including conditioning a surface comprising one or more of dentition and a dental appliance by the application thereto of a wetting agent to form a controlled hydrophilic wet film. The wetting agent includes water, a surfactant, and an additive. The controlled hydrophilic wet film is hydrophilic and is formed by brushing the wetting agent onto the dentition. The brushing controls the thickness and hydrophilicity of the controlled hydrophilic film to a thickness and hydrophilicity that is capable of inducing flow of an impression material that comes into contact with the controlled hydrophilic film. The flow is sufficient to flow into sub-gingival places. The film is contacted with a dental impression material selected from the group consisting of hydrophilic and hydrophobic dental impression materials.
Orthodontic modeling filler material and method
An improved dough-like filler material for use in dental and orthodontic modelling and the manufacturing methods that may be used to produce such improved dough-like filler material.
