CRASH RESISTANT TRIP FOR A PIPE MACHINING APPARATUS
A pipe machining apparatus includes a frame, a tool support, an advancement device, and an advancement member. The tool support is coupled to and movable relative to the frame. The tool support is adapted to support a tool and move the tool in a direction toward a pipe at an increment. The advancement device includes an advancement projection fixedly attached to the frame. The advancement projection includes a contact-surface. The advancement member is coupled to the tool support. Upon the advancement member contacting the contact-surface of the advancement projection the advancement member is adapted to advance the tool towards the pipe at the increment. The contact-surface of the advancement projection is shaped to always be in a non-perpendicular contact position with the advancement member.

Blends of block copolymer and acrylic adhesives
Pressure sensitive adhesive compositions containing 92 to 99.9 parts of a block copolymer adhesive composition and 0.1 to less than 8 parts of an acrylic adhesive composition are described. Tapes including such adhesives, and methods of making such tapes are also described.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING ELASTOMERIC POLYMER LINER MATERIAL FROM INSIDE A PIPE
In one aspect, a device for facilitating removal of elastomeric polymer liner material from inside a pipe comprises a knife having an axial blade portion and a radial blade portion joined to form a heel with respective cutting edges of the axial and radial blade portions facing in the same direction. The knife has a working orientation in which the axial and radial blade portions are oriented axially and radially, respectively, relative to the pipe and the axial blade portion is further from the pipe axis than the radial blade portion. Rotation of the knife about the pipe axis in the working orientation with the cutting edges leading and the knife contacting the elastomeric polymer liner material causes the cutting edges of the radial and axial blade portions to cut through the elastomeric polymer liner material in the radial and axial dimensions, respectively, of the pipe.
Peeling machine for elongated products
The peeling machine, comprising: a rotating head installed rotating about an axis of rotation and provided with a central cavity in which, during use, there is disposed an elongated product to be worked; the rotating head is provided with a plurality of tools and with at least one adjustment unit configured to move the tools away from or toward the elongated product; a first motor configured to make the rotating head rotate about the axis of rotation; and a transmission unit configured to transmit motion from a second motor to the adjustment unit in order to simultaneously adjust the radial position of the tools; the transmission unit comprises a differential device kinematically connected between the second motor and the adjustment unit so that an adjustment of the position of the tools with respect to the elongated product corresponds to the drive of the second motor.
Constant rake fluted drill bit and method of manufacture
A constant rake planar cutting edge fluted drill bit and a method of manufacturing the same. The drill bit includes a planar cutting face formed at the tip end of the bit by a motion of a rotating machining wheel respective to a stationary blank in a first step. Once the cutting face is formed, the blank is rotated and translated in a direction parallel to an elongated axis, during which the rotating machining wheel creates a flute. Upon completion of the first flute, the bit is rotated accordingly and the processes are repeated to create each subsequent planar cutting face and respective flute. The process can also be completed in a slightly modified version of a reverse process, fabricating a flute prior to formation of the planar cutting face of the bit.
