Hole saw
A hole saw is movable about a rotational axis in a cutting direction to cut into a workpiece. The hole saw includes a cylindrical body with a sidewall having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a gullet formed in the sidewall between a leading surface, a trailing surface, and a bottom surface of the sidewall, and a support aperture formed in the sidewall. The gullet extends through the first end of the body. The support aperture is entirely surrounded by the sidewall. A majority of the support aperture circumferentially overlaps with the gullet. At least a portion of the support aperture is positioned closer than the bottom surface of the sidewall to the second end. The hole saw includes a cutting tooth coupled to the first end of the sidewall adjacent the gullet and an end cap coupled to the second end of the sidewall.

HOLE SAW WITH AN INTERNAL AUGER
A hole saw for quickly cutting holes through workpieces without stopping to eject cut material. The device includes a cylindrical body with cutting teeth on a first end side engageable with a workpiece and a base plate on a second end side engageable with a power tool. The cylindrical body has one or more discharge slots and a removable internal auger secures to the base plate. The one or more blades of the internal auger and ejection of cut material from any of the discharge slots on the cylindrical body and/or the base plate enable cutting deep holes that are not limited by the depth of the cylindrical body. The removable internal auger allows for maintenance and sharpening for an extended use.
HOLE SAW
A hole saw includes a substantially cylindrical body defining a cutting end and an axis of rotation. The hole saw also includes first and second apertures formed through the body and spaced from the cutting end such that a portion of the body extends between the cutting end and both the first and second apertures. The first and second apertures are both configured to receive a tool for removing work piece plugs from within the cylindrical body. The first aperture is axially spaced from the cutting end a first distance. The second aperture is axially spaced from the cutting end a second distance that is greater than the first distance. The first aperture and the second aperture are separated by a portion of the body.
HOLE SAW
A hole saw movable about a rotational axis in a cutting direction to cut into a workpiece. includes a cylindrical body having a sidewall with a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and a gullet extending through the first end of the cylindrical body. The gullet includes a first linear surface extending parallel to the rotational axis, a second linear surface extending parallel to the rotational axis, and a third linear surface extending from the first linear surface toward the second linear surface, the third linear surface oriented oblique to the rotational axis. The cylindrical body also includes a cutting tooth coupled to the first end of the sidewall adjacent the gullet, and an end cap coupled to the second end of the sidewall.
Hole Saw with Sidewall Holes
A hole saw including a plurality of sidewall openings is provided. The sidewall openings are shaped and grouped in patterns that improve debris ejection of the hole saw and that allow for easy access to the interior of the hole saw for manual debris removal by the user. The opening groups are spaced from each other by larger uninterrupted areas such that the hole saw has a high strength despite the number and size of openings provided in the saw sidewall.
Hole cutter with multiple fulcrums
A hole cutter has a cylindrical blade body including a cutting edge and one or more axially-elongated apertures formed within a side wall of the blade body. The axially-elongated aperture is configured to receive a lever, such as a screwdriver, therethrough. Each axially-elongated aperture includes a first fulcrum axially spaced adjacent to the cutting edge, a second fulcrum axially spaced further away from the cutting edge than the first fulcrum, and optionally a third fulcrum axially spaced between the first and second fulcrums. A lever, such as a screwdriver, can be inserted into the aperture and placed against each of the fulcrums to lever slugs out of the interior of the blade body.
Annular hole cutter
An annular hole cutter includes a cutter body having cutting teeth and a plurality of flutes extending from the cutting teeth around a side wall between a first and second end, with the flutes separated from each other by a land. The hole cutter includes side walls defining primary and secondary flutes with each one of the primary flutes defining first and second helix angles, and with each one of the secondary flutes defining a third helix angle and a fourth helix angle, with the second helix angle being greater than the first helix angle.
