A rotary tool according to a non-limiting aspect has a body that has a rod shape extending from a first end to a second end and is rotatable about a central axis. The body has a first cutting edge positioned on the first end, a first flute extending from the first cutting edge toward the second end, a second cutting edge being on a side of the second end and on a side of an outer periphery with respect to the first cutting edge and being positioned away from the first cutting edge, and a second flute, extending from the second cutting edge toward the second end and being positioned along the first flute. The second flute has a projecting portion extending from a side of the first end toward a side of the second end.

The chamfered part is getting smaller gradually as moving toward the first end side. The connection part has a curved surface and connects the second cutting edge and the drilling portion. A ratio of w/L is 0.0015-0.5 where L is a length of the second cutting edge in a front view of the first end, and w is a width of an outer peripheral end of the chamfered part in a direction parallel to the rotation axis.

Provided is a drill that can drill with good accuracy without over-processing during deburring. The drill includes: a drill main body that is rotated around a central axis; a main cutting edge provided at a leading end of the drill main body; and a deburring cutting edge that is provided on a base end side of the drill main body, adjacent to the main cutting edge, and performs deburring. The deburring cutting edge is similar in diameter to the main cutting edge and has an angle () smaller than an angle () formed by the main cutting edge relative to the central axis.
