SAW HAVING A DUST COLLECTOR
A saw has a machine head mounted on a machine frame to be pivotable in a vertical plane and to be pressable downwards for sawing from a rest position and which carries a saw blade rotating for sawing. The saw has a dust collector, serving to receive the chips and dust produced during sawing, connecting to a connection socket on a saw blade cover mounted above the saw blade on the machine head, being displaceably arranged on a carriage received in a linear guide, and being connected to the connection socket via a flexible connecting line. When the machine head is pressed down, the dust collector makes a linear displacement movement, the saw blade cover and the dust collector move relative to the machine frame, and the bendability or flexibility of the connecting line between the connection socket and the dust collector compensates for the different directions of movement.
TABLETOP CUTTING DEVICE
Two 18V-type rechargeable batteries (31 and 31) are attached in series so as to allow a 36V-type tabletop cutting device (C1) to be utilized. By utilizing the 18V batteries which are highly prevalent for electric tools, it is possible to use the 36V-type tabletop cutting device (C1) as well as to reduce costs for the batteries.
Articulated mast section for chop saws
An articulated chop saw mast section (30) replaces a rigid prior art mast section (22) between a chop saw base (20) and a chop saw swing arm assembly (23). The articulation of mast section (30) provides a front-to-rear longitudinal movement of the swing arm assembly (23) along an axis that is parallel to the longitudinal axis of a chop saw cutting wheel (26), ultimately providing front-to-rear movement of the cutting wheel (26) along its longitudinal axis. The movement of wheel (26) in this fashion provides a means for optimum adjustment to the geometric relationship between wheel (26) and the material to be cut. The ability of the articulated mast to achieve optimum cutting geometry offers greater cutting efficiency by reducing the point or points of contact between wheel (26) and the material's specific profile.
CHOP SAW WITH IMPROVED MOTOR CONTROLS
A chop saw has a base assembly, a support housing connected to the base assembly, a saw assembly pivotally connected to the support housing allowing the saw assembly to be pivoted downwardly towards the base assembly for conducting a cutting operation on a workpiece. The saw assembly has a motor, a blade driven by the motor and an upper blade guard for covering an upper portion of the blade. A sensor assembly senses a position of the saw assembly relative to the workpiece and/or the support housing. A controller receives a signal an input representative of the position of the saw assembly from the sensor assembly and controls the motor according to such signal.

CIRCULAR SAW
A circular saw including a housing, a motor disposed within the housing, a spindle operable to be rotated by the motor, and a saw blade supported by the spindle for co-rotation therewith. The saw blade includes a hub portion located at a center of the saw blade and a blade portion extending therefrom. The hub portion is offset from the blade portion to define a pocket between the blade portion and the hub portion. The circular saw also includes a fastener securing the saw blade to the spindle. The fastener is at least partially recessed within the pocket.
Blade guard for saw of saw house and method
A blade guard assembly for a circular saw blade of a saw house includes a blade cover with a face panel and an edge portion that extends from the face panel. An actuator is mountable the blade cover and the structure of the saw house. When the blade guard assembly is mounted in saw house, the blade cover is movable with the actuator between a covered position and an exposed position. In the covered position, the face panel and edge portion at least partially surround the saw blade. In the exposed position, the face panel is spaced from the saw blade.
Flange bolt cutter
A flange bolt cutter for separating two connected flanges. The flange bolt cutter contains a circular saw blade connected to an flange mount which can be vertically adjusted relative to the flange mount and/or includes two arms which can be pivotally adjusted relative to each other.
MODULAR CIRCULAR SAW
A modular circular saw includes a base, a worktable disposed on the base and a workpiece supporting unit. The workpiece supporting unit has two supporting frames respectively and correspondingly located on two lateral sides of the worktable; each workpiece supporting unit has a supporting shaft and two corresponding extending shafts. Each extending shaft has one end pivotally connected to the base, another end of the extending shaft is pivotally connected to one end of the supporting shaft, correspondingly. When the workpiece supporting unit is in an extended position for receiving a workpiece, the two supporting shafts are substantially co-planar with the worktable, such that the two supporting shafts provides extra support to a workpiece of large size. When the workpiece supporting unit is in a folded position, the two supporting shafts are located above the worktable for minimizing the size of the saw and for allowing the user to grip the saw for easy transportation.
CUTTING DEVICE
A dust collection hose 162 is configured to be connected to a main body side connection port 161 and a supporting side connection port 171 of a main body supporting portion 60 so as to be smoothly rotatable about the respective longitudinal axes extending through the center of the respective port openings. Because of this configuration, even if an excessive external force is applied to the dust collection hose 162, the hose is able to rotate back into and retain a non-bent, smooth arrangement path of the dust collection hose 162, thus preventing occurrence of bending of the dust collection hose 162.
