Saw for blade having deformable lock teeth

A surgical saw includes a body, a coupling assembly, and a motor. The coupling assembly is mounted to the body and adapted to releasably hold a saw blade. The coupling assembly includes an anvil, a press, and a clamping assembly. The anvil has a channel or a press foot. The press has the other of the press foot and the channel. The press foot is receivable by the channel. The clamping assembly selectively moves the press and the anvil towards and away from each other. When the press is brought towards the anvil, the press foot may press a lock tooth of the saw blade into the channel so that the lock tooth is compressed between the anvil and the press to coin the lock tooth. The motor, internal to the body, is connected to the coupling assembly to reciprocate the coupling assembly and the saw blade.

There is a hand-held machine tool, in particular a saber saw, with a housing, a drive motor with an output shaft, a spindle for receiving a tool, in particular a saw blade, and a motion converter for converting a rotational motion of the drive shaft into a reciprocating motion of the spindle. The motion converter comprises an eccentric element driven by the output shaft rotationally about an axis of rotation with a driver part arranged eccentrically to the axis of rotation, and a pendulum element which is mounted pivotably about a bearing point and is connected via a coupling point to the spindle. The pendulum element has a guide element for guiding the driver part. In one embodiment, the guide element is arranged between the bearing point and coupling point.

A reciprocating tool includes a housing, a first tubular member, a slider, a second tubular member and a lock member. The first tubular member is pivotable around a first axis and has a single first protrusion protruding radially inward. The second tubular member is disposed in the first tubular member, is coupled to a first end portion of the slider to be pivotable around a second axis, and has a single second protrusion protruding radially outward. The second tubular member has a protruding portion configured to allow the lock member to move from a lock position to an unlock position. The single first protrusion is configured to engage with the single second protrusion and cause the second tubular member to pivot when the first tubular member pivots. The single second protrusion is provided on a portion of the second tubular member other than the protruding portion.
