THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT FOR T-CELL ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIAS USING A MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AGAINST THE PRE-T CELL RECEPTOR
The present invention relates to the treatment of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALLs) by means of immunotherapy with a monoclonal antibody which recognizes the pre-TCR receptor which, due to its presence in all phases of T-ALL pre-TCR+ development, can also be used as a leukemia-initiating cell (LIC) biomarker and as a therapeutic target useful for monitoring minimal residual disease and identifying compounds inhibiting the disease.
USE OF VIRAL VECTORS FOR CORONAVIRUS VACCINE PRODUCTION
Provided herein are compositions that includes AAVs and AAV vectors that include a sequence encoding a SARS-CoV-2 polypeptide or a fragment thereof. Also provided herein are methods and materials for making and using AAVs and AAV vectors to generate immunity to a coronavirus in a subject.
Anti-CCR8 antibodies
The present disclosure provides anti-CCR8 antibodies, including compositions and methods of using such antibodies.
Checkpoint blockade and microsatellite instability
Blockade of immune checkpoints such as cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA-4) and programmed death-1 (PD-1) shows promise in patients with cancer. Inhibitory antibodies directed at these receptors have been shown to break immune tolerance and promote anti-tumor immunity. These agents work particularly well in patients with a certain category of tumor. Such tumors may be particularly susceptible to treatment because of the multitude of neoantigens which they produce.
NON-ADULT HUMAN DOSING OF ANTI-CD30 ANTIBODY-DRUG CONJUGATES
The invention provides, inter alia, methods of treating a disorder characterized by pathological activity of CD30+ cells, such as in certain solid, hematological and lymphoid cancers, in a non-adult human subject by administering an effective amount of an anti-CD30 ADC (antibody drug conjugate), such as, brentuximab vedotin, to the subject. The invention also provides corresponding kits and articles of manufacture suitable for performing the methods provided by the invention.
GLYPICAN-2-BINDING MOIETIES, CHIMERIC ANTIGEN RECEPTORS AND USES THEREOF
The present application provides GPC2-specific antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof. A chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that specifically binds glypican-2 (GPC2) comprising a GPC2-specific antibody, a transmembrane domain, and an intracellular signaling domain. T cells comprising the disclosed CAR constructs can be used for cancer immunotherapy.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING CANCER
The present application provides compositions and methods for treating cancers, including follicular lymphoma, T cell lymphoma and adenoid cystic carcinoma, using an anti-CD137 antibody that specifically binds to an extracellular domain of human CD137. In some embodiment, combination therapies including the anti-CD137 antibody and an immune checkpoint inhibitor, and/or a chemotherapeutic agent are provided. Biomarkers such as total CD137, membrane bound CD137 (mCD137), soluble CD137 (sCD137), CD137 ligand, Ki67, CD8+ effector memory T (T.sub.em) cells, regulatory T (T.sub.reg) cells, and natural killer (NK) cell levels for the methods of treatment described herein are also provided.
PNEUMOCOCCAL CONJUGATE VACCINE FORMULATIONS
The present invention provides pneumococcal conjugate vaccine formulations comprising surfactant systems incorporating polysorbate 20 or a combination of a poloxamer and a polyol.
TREATMENT OF DIABETES MELLITUS
The present invention provides a method of treating insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus in a subject, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a Janus kinase inhibitor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof, or a therapeutically effective amount of intravenous immunoglobulin, or a therapeutically effective amount of a therapeutic agent that destroys B lymphocytes, or a combination thereof. The present invention also provides kits containing the same.
Method for presymptomatic diagnosis of coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity
The invention relates to the use of an immunologically reactive microbial transglutaminase or its immunologically reactive parts or analogues, which are present in a complex with gliadin or its immunologically reactive parts or analogues, for the diagnosis and/or therapy control of coeliac disease or sprue as well as gluten sensitivity, and a kit for determining the diagnosis and/or therapy control of coeliac disease or sprue as well as of gluten sensitivity, by means of the previously mentioned complex.
