HEAT TRANSFER TUBE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HEAT TRANSFER TUBE
The invention relates to a heat transfer tube (9) for falling film evaporation having a heating medium surface (21) to be heated by a heating medium, a falling film surface (20) to have spent liquor passing over it, and being made from an sheet metal material. The falling film surface of the heat transfer tube is equipped with a multitude of wire bumps (WB), each wire bump being spaced apart along the longitudinal axis (CC) of the heat transfer tube from a neighbouring wire bump by 3-300 mm, said wire bumps (WB) having a height (h) in the range 0.3 to 5.0 mm, a width (w) in the range 0.3-5.0 mm, and an inclination angle (a) versus a plane orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (CC) of the heat transfer tube in a range of 0-70 degrees. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said heat transfer tube.
HEAT TRANSFER TUBE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HEAT TRANSFER TUBE
The invention relates to a heat transfer tube (9) for falling film evaporation having a heating medium surface (21) to be heated by a heating medium, a falling film surface (20) to have spent liquor passing over it, and being made from an iron based high alloy stainless steel material with an alloy content above 16.00% for Chromium and above 1% for Nickel. The falling film surface of the heat transfer tube is equipped with one or several protrusions/indentations forming a multitude of stamped bumps (SB) on the envelope surface of a heat transfer tube such that the distance between adjacent stamped bumps (SB) along a line on the envelope surface parallel to the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube is within the range of 3 to 250 mm, said stamped bumps (SB) having a height (hp) in the range 0.3 to 5.0 mm, a width (wp) in the range 1.0-20 mm, and an inclination angle (a) versus a plane orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (CC) of the heat transfer tube in a range of 0-70 degrees so that each stamped bump (SB) is inclined and extends along at least a portion of the heat transfer tube or extend within a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said heat transfer tube.
Method for cohesive joining to a cable end, and also configured cable
The invention proposes a method for cohesive joining to a cable end (1), in which method a welding tool element (30, 37, 41, 43, 45, 48, 53) is fitted on an open bundle end of individual cores (2, 15) of the cable end (1), welding energy is fed into the individual cores (2, 15), and the welding tool element (30, 37, 41, 43, 45, 48, 53) is removed from the bundle end. In the process, an engagement recess (7, 21) can be formed in the open bundle end, an engagement pin (6, 20, 31, 38, 42, 44, 46, 49, 54) of the welding tool element (30, 37, 41, 43, 45, 48, 53) can engage into the engagement recess (7, 21), and at least a portion of the welding energy can be fed via the engagement recess (7, 21). A configured cable comprising individual cores (2, 15) with a receiving sleeve (4, 16, 33) is also presented, wherein the receiving sleeve (4, 16, 33) has an inlet opening (9) for a bundle (3) of the individual cores (2, 15), the receiving sleeve (4, 16, 33) has an end piece (5, 18) which is widened in relation to the inlet opening (9), and there is, at least also in the widened end piece (5, 18), a cohesive connection between at least one subset of the individual cores (2, 15) with respect to one another and/or between at least a subset of the individual cores (2, 15) and the receiving sleeve (4, 16, 33).

The invention relates to a heat transfer tube (9) for falling film evaporation having a heating medium surface (21) to be heated by a heating medium, a falling film surface (20) to have spent liquor passing over it, and being made from an iron based high alloy stainless steel material with an alloy content above 16.00% for Chromium and above 1% for Nickel. The falling film surface of the heat transfer tube is equipped with at least one weld ridge (WR; WR.sub.1, WR.sub.2), said weld ridge having a height (h; h.sub.2) in the range 0.3 to 5.0 mm, a width (w; w.sub.2) in the range 0.5-15 mm, and an inclination angle (; .sub.1, .sub.2) versus a plane orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (CC) of the heat transfer tube in a range of 0-70 degrees so that each weld ridge is inclined and extends helically along at least a portion of the heat transfer tube or extend within a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube and forms well ridge portions on the falling film surface such that the distance along the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube between adjacent weld ridge portions is within the range of 0 to 250 mm. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said heat transfer tube.
Apparatus and method for butt-welding workpieces
A butt-welding device and a method for butt welding workpieces, especially for double-upset resistance-pressure butt-welding of workpieces, particularly wires, strands and profiles, has first and second clamping members for receiving the ends of the workpieces that are to be joined. At least one clamping means can be moved between a starting position and a welding position. At least one deburring tool is provided for deburring the welded workpiece ends. In addition, at least one sensor is provided to determine the geometric dimensions of the workpieces that are to be joined, especially the diameter, the width or the height in the joining plane or substantially parallel thereto, wherein a control unit controls the movement of the clamping members and/or of the deburring tool as a function of the geometric dimension.

An electric-resistance-welded stainless clad steel pipe or tube that is excellent in both the fracture property of the weld and the corrosion resistance of the pipe or tube inner surface as electric resistance welded without additional welding treatment such as weld overlaying after electric resistance welding is provided. An electric-resistance-welded stainless clad steel pipe or tube comprises: an outer layer of carbon steel or low-alloy steel; and an inner layer of austenitic stainless steel having a predetermined chemical composition, wherein a flatness value h/D in a 90 flattening test in accordance with JIS G 3445 is less than 0.3, and a pipe or tube inner surface has no crack in a sulfuric acid-copper sulfate corrosion test in accordance with ASTM A262-13, Practice E, where h is a flattening crack height (mm), and D is a pipe or tube outer diameter (mm).

A welded state monitoring system according to an aspect of the present invention is a welded state monitoring system used for plasma shielded electric resistance welding in which electric resistance welding is performed while irradiating a weld zone of a steel sheet with plasma, and is provided with a plasma irradiation device which irradiates the weld zone with plasma, a first image capturing device which captures an image of the weld zone from above and has an image sensor capable of detecting light having a wavelength of 850 nm or more, a first wavelength region limiting device which limits light incident on the first image capturing device to a wavelength region of 850 nm or more, and an image processing device which subjects the image captured by the first image capturing device to image processing and analyzes the welded state of the weld zone thereby being able to analyze the welded state without being affected by the plasma.
