WIRE WELDER AND METHOD FOR WIRE WELDING
A welder containing a weld part, a clamp and a number of tools that is for welding metal wires end-to-end to one another. The tools have a tool indicator that is either in complete or in non-complete condition, and can be processing tools used to finish the weld or testing tools allowing testing the weld once finished. Before starting the welding the first metal wire is held in the clamp. By that action all tool indicators are set to the non-complete condition. When a processing tool has been used, its processing tool indicator is set to complete. When the weld has passed the specification of a testing tool, the testing tool indicator is set to complete. When each processing and testing tool indicator is set to complete the clamp will open. In this case it is sure that the operator has done all necessary steps and checks on the weld.
Method of joining a surface-mount component to a substrate with solder that has been temporarily secured
A method of joining a surface-mount component to a substrate includes placing a piece of solder on top of the substrate and temporarily bonding the piece of solder to the substrate with at least one temporary bond. The method also includes placing a surface-mount component on top of the substrate with a bottom face of the surface-mount component facing the substrate. The surface-mount component has at least one lateral side. The method further includes positioning the surface-mount component with the at least one lateral side proximate the piece of solder, heating the substrate and the piece of solder to a joining temperature for a time sufficient for the solder to flow into an area between the bottom face of the surface-mount component and the substrate, and cooling the substrate and solder.
Ultrasonic bonding method of conductor of electric wire, ultrasonic bonding apparatus for conductor of electric wire and electric wire
An ultrasonic bonding method of a conductor of an electric wire includes ultrasonically bonding strands forming a conductor of at least one electric wire using an anvil and horns. A first vibration mode of at least one of the horns is different from a second vibration mode of the other horns.
Modular welding head assembly
The present disclosure relates to a system of modular functional blocks that may be used to facilitate easy assembly of a welding head assembly in any one of a wide variety of configurations to allow for distribution of welding wire, gas, cooling fluid and other media throughout an interconnected assembly of the modular functional blocks. As such, the modular functional blocks can be mixed and matched into any desired configuration as needed depending on the welding process being undertaken. The modular functional blocks may be in the form of one or more different welding wire delivery blocks, gas delivery blocks, cooling water delivery blocks, shim plates, end plates, shield cup, cover plates, insulating plates, etc.
JOINT OF COPPER TERMINAL AND ALUMINIUM CONDUCTOR AND ULTRASONIC WELDING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are a joint of a copper terminal and an aluminium conductor and an ultrasonic welding method thereof. One spacing metal layer is added between the copper terminal and the aluminium conductor, and firstly, the spacing metal layer is fixed at a welding end of a base material by means of a manner such as electroplating, pressure welding, electric arc spray welding or electromagnetic welding, and the three parts are then welded together by means of an ultrasonic welding manner. The welding method is suitable for the welding of various joints, the electrochemical corrosion resulting from the potential difference between the copper and aluminium electrodes can be effectively reduced, and the mechanical properties of the joint can be improved.
TERMINAL-ATTACHED ELECTRIC WIRE AND WIRE HARNESS
In a terminal-attached electric wire applied to a wire harness, a metal terminal includes: an electric wire connection portion to which the electric wire is connected; a box-shaped portion that is formed into a box shape by a bottom body coupled to the electric wire connection portion and a pair of wall bodies formed by protruding individually from both ends of the bottom body in a width direction, and enables a counterpart terminal to be inserted into a terminal insertion space portion in an inside thereof along an axial direction intersecting the width direction; and a spring contact portion that is located inside the terminal insertion space portion, is elastically deformably supported in the box-shaped portion in a cantilever manner, and forms a contact with the counterpart terminal, and wherein the box-shaped portion has a displacement regulating portion that regulates a relative displacement between the pair of the wall bodies.
Ribbon bonding tools and methods of using the same
A ribbon bonding tool including a body portion is provided. The body portion includes a tip portion. The tip portion includes a working surface between a front edge of the tip portion and a back edge of the tip portion. The working surface includes a region defining at least one of a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions. The working surface also defines at least one of (a) a first planar portion between the region and the front edge of the tip portion, and (b) a second planar portion between the region and the back edge of the tip portion.
AN INDUCTIVE THERMO-CRIMPING APPARATUS
An inductive thermo-crimping apparatus is provided, which is provided for crimping a crimping body which is formed by the contact of the connecting body and the to-be-joined member. The inductive thermo-crimping apparatus includes a driving part, a stamper part, and a heating part, the driving part is connected to the stamper part, and the heating part is fixedly connected to the driving part. After the heating part is activated, the crimping body is disposed on the heating part. The heating part includes an inductive heating coil. The inductive heating coil surrounds in the heating part. The inductive heating coil is provided for heating the crimping body to soften the crimping body, in which the driving part is provided for driving the stamper part to press the soften crimping body, so that the connecting body and the to-be-joined member is crimped and to form a rigid crimping body after cooling. The present invention utilizes the coil with an alternative current to heat the crimping body by an electromagnetic induction, so that the process of the crimping technology is convenient and fast.
