DISTORTION MITIGATION IN DIRECTED ENERGY DEPOSITION
Provided are a curved clamping mold and systems and methods using the curved clamping mold for manufacturing objects, especially titanium and titanium alloy objects, by directed energy deposition. The methods include thermally pre-bending the substrate onto which the object is to be manufactured to form a pre-bent substrate, attaching the pre-bent substrate to a jig using the curved clamping mold as an underlying support, pre-heating the substrate, and forming the object on the pre-heated, pre-bent substrate using a directed energy deposition technique.
Laser processing machine and laser processing method
The laser processing machine includes a beam oscillation mechanism that oscillates a beam spot on a surface of a sheet metal. The control device controls the beam oscillation mechanism so as to oscillate the beam spot with an oscillation component in a direction orthogonal to a cutting direction of the sheet metal in a non-holding region, in which a holding portion of the conveyance apparatus for conveying a product is not held, when cutting the product from the sheet metal by irradiating the sheet metal with the laser beam. The non-holding region is at least a part of a periphery of a protrusion portion of the product, or at least a part of a periphery of a recess forming region in which a recess of the product is formed.
Grinder and Tool Rest System
Present invention teaches tool rest system having a magnetic base and a height-and-angle adjustable arm with a platform situated at the top portion of the arm, for working on the surface of a welding table with ferromagnetic attribute. An anti-tipping plate provides the anti-tipping power when a large or heavy load is placed upon the platform on the arm that is adjustable by two screws. Additional features of cable hanger and storage box adds to the convenience of use for welding work.
ANGLE ELEMENT FOR A WELDING AND CLAMPING TABLE SYSTEM AND MODULAR SYSTEM FOR THE PRODUCTION OF VARIOUS VARIANTS OF AN ANGLE ELEMENT
An angle element for a welding and clamping table system includes an L-shaped profile, a base plate releasably fastened at one end of the L-shaped profile and provided with a system borehole of the welding and clamping table system, and a member releasably fastened at another end of the L-shaped profile and selected from the group consisting of a further such base plate and a clamping plate which is provided with several threaded boreholes to accommodate various hole patterns of quick-change clamps.
IMPROVED LASER MARKING EQUIPMENT
It is disclosed a laser marking apparatus provided with a protection shield, comprising a support frame (T) of a working deck (2) and wherein, around said working deck, a protection shield is arranged which fully encircles the working area of said laser marking head (4) and provided with at least partly perimetrally upright arranged panels with respect to said working deck, wherein said panels (P1-P8) are mounted movable from a lower position, wherein said shield encircles said support frame (T) up to a height completely below or flush with the upper surface of said working deck (2), to an upper extended position wherein said shield encircles the area above said working deck (2) up to a working height of said laser marking head (4).
Methods and machines for the cutting processing of a plate-type material
The invention relates to a method for the cutting processing of a panel-type material in a machine which comprises a processing station in a machine base frame, and the processing station is assigned a loading and unloading station. The panel-type material is laid on a pallet which is movable between the processing station and the loading and unloading station, and the pallet is moved into the processing station for subsequent processing and is positioned on a pallet carrier of the machine base frame for the subsequent processing of the panel-type material, wherein, before the start of the processing process of the panel-type material by the processing unit, the pallet is lifted from the pallet carrier by an air spring device and is positioned in a manner decoupled from the pallet carrier, and after the processing process of the panel-type material, the pallet is coupled to the pallet carrier.
FABRICATION LAYOUT DEVICE & METHOD
Techniques and devices are disclosed for fabrication layout device. The device includes a table with a work surface. The work surface being a continuous surface and configured to support a plurality of railing pieces for fabrication of a railing assembly. The device further includes a beam located above the work surface. The beam is operatively coupled to the table, such that the beam moves relative to the work surface in a first direction. Attached to the beam is an ink dispenser. The ink dispenser is configured to move along the beam in a second direction different from the first direction. The ink dispenser is further configured to dispense ink onto the work surface of the table in the form of a pattern of the railing assembly. Railing pieces are positioned on the pattern so that they can be assembled to one another.
ONE-SIDE SUBMERGED ARC WELDING METHOD AND ONE-SIDE SUBMERGED ARC WELDING DEVICE
A one-side submerged arc welding method includes setting: a welding speed transition section, in which welding is performed such that a welding speed is lowered from a welding speed of main welding to a welding speed being 80% or less of the welding speed of main welding; and a low welding speed section, in which welding is performed at a welding speed being 80% or less of the welding speed of main welding. A length of the welding speed transition section is set to be more than 200 mm and 1,000 mm or less. The low welding speed section is set as a section from a position of 100 mm or more and less than 1,000 mm in front of the end part of the steel plates to the end part.
WORKPIECE SUPPORT DEVICE
A workpiece support device including a base; a conducting rotary table that supports a workpiece and that is rotatable about a horizontal rotation axis; a motor that rotationally drives the rotary table; a collecting brush disposed on the base slidable on the outer circumferential surface of a conducting shaft fixed to the rotary table and extending along the rotation axis; a connection terminal that is electrically connected to the collecting brush and to which an external cable is connected; and a liquid-proof cover surrounding the collecting brush and the outer circumferential surface of the shaft. The liquid-proof cover includes an upper back-plate portion that is disposed at the same position as the rear end of the motor, and a lower back-plate portion located below the upper back-plate portion and forming a recess. The connection terminal penetrates through the lower back-plate portion and projects into the recess.
PLASMA CUTTING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PLASMA CUTTING MACHINE
A plasma torch moves to a piercing position. The plasma torch generates a plasma arc and starts a piercing step at the piercing position. Whether the piercing step is completed is determined based on the arc voltage. The plasma torch is held at the piercing position in the horizontal direction from the start of the piercing step until the completion of the piercing step. The plasma torch is moved in a predetermined direction including at least the horizontal direction after the piercing step is completed.
