LIGHT-TRANSMITTING DECORATED MOLDING ARTICLE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME
A method of fabricating a decorated molding article includes forming an all-in-one coating on a substrate and performing a curing step, thereby forming a composite layer structure with a protective effect, a color effect, and a bonding effect. The composite layer structure may form a molded film with better physical properties (e.g., higher hardness, better protection effect, and the like) after the blister molding process. Therefore, the molded film of the embodiments may be applied to a laser engraving process to form a variety of light-transmitting decorated molding articles.
COLORED DIRECT LASER MARKING ON TIRE
A motor vehicle tire includes a sidewall having an inner layer of a first color and an outer layer adjacent the inner layer. The outer layer is of a second color different from the first color. The outer layer has a plurality of throughholes that visually expose the inner layer. The throughholes are in a pattern that encodes information about a history of the motor vehicle tire and/or a unique identifier
Apparatus for manufacturing display device and method of manufacturing display device
There is provided a an apparatus for manufacturing a display device. An apparatus for manufacturing a display device comprises a body generating ultrasonic vibration; and a horn including a horn body portion connected to the body and amplifying the ultrasonic vibration and a horn tip portion connected to the horn body portion and applying the ultrasonic vibration onto a bonding object, wherein the horn body portion includes at least one body groove surrounded by the horn body portion and completely penetrating the horn body portion in a thickness direction from the surface of the horn body portion.
PROCESSING APPARATUS
A processing apparatus processes an object by irradiating the object with a processing light, and includes: a combining optical system that combines an optical path of the processing light from the processing light source and an optical path of a first measurement light from a measurement light source; an irradiation optical system that irradiates the object with processing light and the first measurement light through the combining optical system; a position change apparatus that changes a position of the irradiation optical system relative to the object; an imaging apparatus a position of which is changed together with the irradiation optical system and which captures an image of the object; and a detection apparatus that detects, through the irradiation optical system and the combining optical system, a second measurement light generated from the object due to the first measurement light with which the object is irradiated through the irradiation optical system.
Laser nanostructured surface preparation for joining materials
A joined article includes a first component having a laser-treated surface portion and a second component having a laser-treated surface portion. An adhesive joins the first component to the second component at the treated surface portion. A method of making a joined article form components and a system for making joined articles are also disclosed.
Ignition coil for internal combustion engine and production method for the same
An ignition coil includes a not-illustrated coil, a plate assembly, and a case assembly. The plate assembly and the case assembly are combined with each other by laser welding at a recess and a rib (projection) which are respective abutting portions, thereby forming storage spaces for storing the coil.
Room temperature glass-to-glass, glass-to-plastic and glass-to-ceramic/semiconductor bonding
A process for room temperature substrate bonding employs a first substrate substantially transparent to a laser wavelength is selected. A second substrate for mating at an interface with the first substrate is then selected. A transmissivity change at the interface is created and the first and second substrates are mated at the interface. The first substrate is then irradiated with a laser of the transparency wavelength substantially focused at the interface and a localized high temperature at the interface from energy supplied by the laser is created. The first and second substrates immediately adjacent the interface are softened with diffusion across the interface to fuse the substrates.
SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING LASER MARKED ELASTOMER COMPONENTS
A system for manufacturing elastomeric components is provided. The system may include a molding station having a mold configured to receive an elastomeric material, form a pad that includes a plurality of untrimmed elastomeric components, and cure the pad. The system may further include an automated marking station comprising a laser and a camera. The automated marking station may be configured to remove the cured pad from the molding station, present the cured pad to the laser to form a mark on each of the untrimmed elastomeric components, and present the cured pad to the camera to capture an image of each mark. A process for manufacturing the elastomeric components is also provided.
