Devices, systems, and methods for treating aneurysms
Occlusive devices and associated methods of manufacturing are disclosed herein. Manufacturing an occlusive device can include conforming a mesh to a forming assembly and setting a shape of the mesh based on the forming assembly. In some embodiments, the forming assembly comprises multiple forming members, a mandrel, and/or one or more coupling elements. The method may include everting the mesh over the forming assembly such that the mesh encloses an open volume with a shape based, at least in part, on the shape of the forming assembly. According to some embodiments, setting a shape of the mesh comprises heat-treating the mesh and forming assembly.
SEAL POSITIONING TOOL
A tool and method for positioning a sealing member in an aircraft wing assembly by using first and second holes in a first component of the aircraft wing assembly and first and second holes in a second component of the aircraft wing assembly as positioning reference points, wherein a positional relationship of the first and second holes in the first component matches a positional relationship of the first and second holes in the second component.
FORM SEAL, DEVICE WITH A FORM SEAL, AND METHOD FOR USING A FORM SEAL
A form seal for sealing a gap between a component inserted into a recess of a part exposed to the environment includes: an annular first sealing region for sealing a front region of the gap facing the environment, which comprises a front region adjoining a front side of the form seal, the external dimensions of which decrease in the direction of the front side; a second sealing region that projects inward on an inner side of the first sealing region complementary to a groove of the component; and a third sealing region for supporting the rear of the form seal, which adjoins the first sealing region on a side of the first sealing region facing away from the front side.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF INTRACRANIAL ANEURYSMS
Systems and methods for treating an aneurysm in accordance with embodiments of the present technology include intravascularly delivering an occlusive member to an aneurysm cavity and deforming a shape of the occlusive member via introduction of an embolic element to a space between the occlusive member and an inner surface of the aneurysm wall.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING ANEURYSMS
Treatment of aneurysms can be improved by delivering an occlusive member (e.g., an expandable braid) to an aneurysm sac in conjunction with an embolic element (e.g., coils, embolic material). A treatment system for such treatment can include an electrolytically corrodible conduit having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a detachment zone between the proximal portion and the distal portion. An occlusive member having a proximal hub is coupled to the conduit distal portion. The conduit has a lumen configured to pass an embolic element therethrough.

Method for connecting two components, in particular a motor to a gearbox, and assembly with a connection between motor and gearbox
A form- and/or force-fit connection between the motor and the gearbox is established by screwing together a motor- or gearbox-side first component and the respective motor- or gearbox-side second component. Alternately, an interference fit can be established between these two components by way of an axial lock that includes a lug, which formed on the first component, that is deformed by a caulking tool into a recess formed on the second component.
Plunger rod and syringe assembly system and method
A machine for coupling a plunger rod to a syringe assembly may include a carriage including a cradle having a seat portion sized to receive a syringe assembly and an aperture portion disposed above the seat portion and sized to receive a plunger rod. An actuating device may be operatively coupled to the carriage and adapted to move the cradle from a first position to a second position to couple the plunger rod to the syringe assembly. The carriage may be selected from separate and interchangeable first and second carriages, wherein the first carriage includes a cradle adapted to receive a syringe assembly of a first size and the second carriage including a cradle sized to receive a syringe assembly of a second size that is different from the first size.
SEAL REMOVAL JIG, SEAL REMOVAL METHOD, AND SEAL PORTION
A seal removal jig is used for removing a seal portion from a casing of a rotary machine. The seal removal jig includes a jig body pushed up from below in a vertical direction by a jack, and a jig fixing portion that detachably fixes the jig body to an end surface of the seal portion. The jig body includes a jig contact portion that is contactable with an end surface of an upper half seal portion or a lower half seal portion in a circumferential direction about an axis of the rotary machine; and a jig protrusion protruding outward in a radial direction with respect to the jig contact portion and pushed up from below in the vertical direction by the jack. The ratio of a first distance to an outside diameter of the upper half seal portion or the lower half seal portion is 0.01 or more and 0.1 or less.
Method for producing or releasing a press-fit connection and tool
Making or undoing an oil press fit between a first and second components at respective fitting surfaces includes pressurizing a channel in the second component to produce or release the oil press fit. Oil is applied by the channel during pressurization from a connection between a first fitting surface on the first component and a second fitting surface on the second component. The channel is defined, at least in sections, by two holes intersecting at a point of intersection, one of which is subdivided by the point of intersection into a first part leading to the second fitting surface and a second part opening to an outer side of the second component. Prior to pressurization, an elastically deformable sealing element is placed at the point of intersection, and it is then pressed into the second part of the hole at the point of intersection in a sealing manner.
