Rotating vise jaws comprising first, second, third, and forth elements used with a milling machine vise to hold objects having either parallel or nonparallel edges. Wherein, said first element consists of a vertical axis tool post adapted to fit either a movable or stationary wall disposed at a milling machine vise. Said vertical axis tool post disposes a cylindrical shaft defining a vertical axis for cooperating with said second element comprising a vertical axis vise jaw having beveled side walls and a correlative through hole for cooperating with said vertical axis. Thus, said vertical axis tool post is attached to a milling machine vise and said vertical axis vise jaw is connected to said vertical axis, thereby providing a self-aligning vise jaw with a reversible clamping face; wherein said vise jaw is rotatable about a vertical axis for holding objects having either parallel or nonparallel edges.

Wherein, said third element consists of a horizontal axis tool post having a correlative through hole for connecting said horizontal axis tool post to said vertical axis. said horizontal axis tool post disposes a cylindrical shaft defining a horizontal axis for cooperating with said forth element comprising a horizontal axis vise jaw having beveled side walls and a correlative through hole for cooperating with said horizontal axis. Thus, said vertical axis tool post is attached to a milling machine vise, said horizontal axis tool post is connected to said vertical axis, said horizontal axis vise jaw is connected to said horizontal axis, thereby providing a self-aligning vise jaw with a reversible clamping face, wherein said vise jaw is rotatable about a horizontal axis for holding objects having either parallel or nonparallel edges.

Device to Hold a Rivet Squeezer during Operation and to Store a Rivet Squeezer and Dies
20180272485 · 2018-09-27 ·

A squeezer holder device for the holding a hand rivet squeezer on a bench top for improved part control and squeezer operation. The squeezer holder device also provides convenient storage for a hand squeezer and associated dies. The central feature of the invention is the simple slot and die holders designed into a single block. The squeezer holder device allows the user to position a squeezer on any benchtop at a user selected orientation. The squeezer holder device enables accurate control of parts with one hand throughout squeezer operation by using the table surface to operate the lower squeezer lever. The squeezer holder device can be easily slid around a benchtop with the squeezer and dies between operations. When squeezer use is completed the squeezer holder device holds the squeezer in an upright space saving position with associated dies.

ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY FIXTURE

The present invention is an apparatus, system and method to properly align and install large pistons in cylinders that holds both the piston and cylinder being assembled, and has a number of alignment mechanisms such as but not limited to a laser.

FLEXIBLE CLAMPING DEVICE

The present application discloses a flexible clamping device. A sleeve is fixed on a base, an adjusting shaft is connected with a mandrel and the sleeve respectively, the mandrel is fixed on the upper end face of the adjusting shaft, and the bottom outer wall of the adjusting shaft is in small clearance fit with the inner wall of the sleeve; a lock screw is installed on the upper right side wall of the sleeve, a pinion is installed on the upper left side wall of the sleeve via a rotating shaft, saw teeth are provided on the side wall of a floating shaft, and the pinion can be engaged with the side teeth of the floating shaft.

Dual sliding wedge T-nut
10054149 · 2018-08-21 · ·

A T-Nut for use in a machine tool having a tooling plate with an inverted T-shaped channel. The T-Nut comprises a central body having oppositely inclined faces each including an opening forming a cavity extending through the central body, and first and second wedges in slideable communication with the central body inclined faces. Each of the wedges have wings extending laterally beyond the central body to engage upper surfaces of the channel lower wide portion and include a clearance hole extending through a length of the wedge. A rotatable actuation member abuts the first wedge at an end opposite the first wedge mating surface and is internally threaded for a distance from one end thereof. An externally threaded cylindrical shaft is engaged with the internal threads of the actuation member and extends through the first and second wedge clearance holes, the shaft being secured to and non-rotatable with the second wedge. In operation, when tooling is secured to the top surface of the central body and the actuation member is rotated, the first and second wedges are slideably moved symmetrically along the central body inclined faces until the first and second wedge wings engage upper surfaces of the channel lower wide portion while the tooling is simultaneously urged in the direction of the tooling plate until the tooling mounting surface bears against the tooling plate top surface, thereby removably securing the tooling to the tooling plate.

Mechanical lock for a work support

A work support includes a mounting plate and a mechanical lock coupled to the mounting plate. The mechanical lock includes a base coupled to the mounting plate and a support pin. The support pin is movably coupled to the base. As such, the support pin can move relative to the base. The work support further includes a locking collar at least partly disposed inside the base. The locking collar surrounds the support pin and includes a first collar portion disposed around the support pin. The first collar portion has an outer tapered surface facing away from the support pin. The locking collar further includes a second collar portion disposed around the support pin. The second collar portion has an inner tapered surface facing toward the support pin and can move relative to the first collar between an unlocked position and a locked position.
