Toilet positioning template and method
A positioning template comprises a forward portion, a rearward portion, and a medial portion. The rearward portion include a first plurality of indicia, and the medial portion includes a second plurality of indicia. The positioning template further includes a top surface which includes a third plurality of indicia and a plurality of guides. The positioning template includes a bottom surface and a plurality of protrusions extending downwardly from the bottom surface.
SPINDLE ALIGNMENT AND MACHINE TOOL
There is provided a method for aligning a spindle of a machine tool, the spindle having a longitudinal axis and being rotatable about the longitudinal axis. A trial mounting of the spindle is performed, comprising mediately or directly attaching a bearing surface of the spindle to a support surface of the spindle housing. An actual deviation of the spindle is detected. A wedge-shaped adjustment disc is selected, depending on the detected actual deviation. The adjustment disc is arranged between the bearing surface of the spindle and the support surface of the spindle housing in a defined rotation orientation so that the adjustment disc at least partially corrects the actual deviation.
POWER TOOL ANGLE ASSIST
Power tool methods and systems are provided for aligning a power tool to implement an angled cut in a workpiece. The power tool includes a first distance sensor and a second distance sensor. The power tool measures a first distance to the workpiece with the first distance sensor and a second distance to the workpiece with the second distance sensor. The power tool calculates an angle between the power tool and the workpiece based on the first and second distances, and indicates the angle via an angle output indicator of the power tool. The power tool may measure an angle between the power tool and the workpiece using a proximate edge and a distal edge of the workpiece, and indicate whether the power tool maintains a correct angle as it traverses a cut through the workpiece from the proximate edge to the distal edge.

Hand tool for self aligned placement of surface mounted tooling element
A hand tool enabling self-aligned placement and post alignment clamping of a surface mounted tooling element and a method for manufacturing such a tool. Using an additive manufacturing process, a tool housing may be manufactured in which one or more internal voids allow insertion and rotational movement along and about a longitudinal axis of the housing, respectively, of a member having a radially extending portion. A handle and a brace may be coupled to the proximal and distal ends of the member to facilitate operation of the tool and placement of the surface mounted tooling element, respectively. Such member may also be spring loaded to enable the tool to clamp itself to a workpiece during the mounting operation, with the radially extending member portion limiting rotational travel of the brace.
JIG AND METHOD FOR MAKING REINFORCEMENT CAGE
The present disclosure relates to a jig for manufacturing a reinforcement cage, which comprises a base member, a plurality of rollers disposed on the base member and spaced at intervals, a trolley which is movable on the base member; a driving device for driving the trolley; and a member for positioning the main reinforcement disposed at the first end of the base member.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool includes: a tool holder which includes a key groove; a spindle drive unit which includes a spindle key that can be fitted into the key groove of the tool holder and a spindle and which removably holds the tool holder; a tool exchanger which includes a grip key and a grip that holds the tool holder at a fixed position with respect to the spindle; and a numerical controller which controls the tool exchanger so as to fit and remove the tool holder with respect to the spindle, and the numerical controller controls the spindle drive unit such that when the tool holder is fitted to the spindle, in a state where the key groove of the tool holder is inserted in the spindle key, the spindle is rotated to press the spindle key to the key groove so as to determine the phase of the tool holder with respect to the spindle.

Methods of aligning components for vehicle assembly
A mechanical assembly to precisely position large objects and align them to be joined with other objects with precision. The assembly does not require power to operate and can therefore be used in a variety of remote and harsh locations.
Method and apparatus for aligning a process gas jet nozzle and laser machining beam
An alignment tool for a laser machine tool includes a frame that is mountable to the laser cutting head of the laser machine tool; a first indicator mounted to the frame along an X-axis; a second indicator mounted to the frame along a Y-axis; a position device mounted to the frame, the position device operable to reference upon a surface of the laser cutting head to align the first indicator along an X-axis of the laser cutting head, and to align the second indicator along a Y-axis of the laser cutting head; and a fastener mounted to the frame, the fastener operable to retain the frame to the laser cutting head.
