Rail Shoe Assembly
A rail shoe assembly for mounting a drilling machine to a rail of a railway track, with the drilling machine including a drill, a cutter, and a support frame with the support frame mounted to the rail, includes a base adapted to be positioned with respect to the rail and adapted to be coupled to the support frame. The rail shoe assembly also includes an adjustable bar coupled to and slideable relative to the base. The adjustable bar has a bottom edge for engagement with the rail. The adjustable bar defines a plurality of position indicators and the base defines a plurality of mounting chambers. At least one of the plurality of position indicators and at least one of the plurality of mounting chambers are alignable at a predetermined position for positioning said base relative to the rail such that the drill and cutter are positioned relative to the rail.
Machine tool comprising a longitudinal rail, a transverse arm, and a motorized unit
A machine tool adapted to perform operations, in particular machining, on the surface of a part of large dimensions. The machine tool comprises a longitudinal rail and a transverse arm orthogonal to the longitudinal rail, fixed at a first end to slide on the longitudinal rail. A second end of the transverse arm is fitted with at least one motorized unit comprising at least one sucker allowing the unit to be held in position on the part during an operation. The unit is motorized and comprises a movement system for crawling over the part parallel to the longitudinal rail. The transverse arm carrying a tool is thus positioned precisely on the part. The unit is articulated relative to the transverse arm around a pivot of axis parallel to said transverse arm, in order to adapt to the curvature of the part along the longitudinal rail.
Apparatus and method for processing a concrete tower segment of a wind turbine
The invention concerns a processing apparatus for processing an upper segment edge of a pylon segment of a concrete pylon for preparing the pylon segment for placement thereon of at least one further pylon segment. According to the invention it is proposed that the processing apparatus includes a processing means for processing the segment edge, and a carrier apparatus to be fixed in the region of the segment edge for displaceably carrying and guiding the processing means along the segment edge.
MOVABLE SEAT AND RAIL DEVICE WITH THE MOVABLE SEAT
A movable seat and a rail device. The movable seat includes a main body; an air passage, an air sucking passage and an air intake passage formed in the main body; a sucker disposed under bottom face of the main body and an operation/control member mounted on the main body. When the operation/control member is positioned in a locking position, the air passage or the air intake passage keeps in a communication state and make the sucker a sucking force. When the operation/control member is positioned in a releasing position, the air passage or the air intake passage is blocked. By means of easy operation, the movable seat can create sucking force and locate or stop providing sucking force. One or more movable seats can be connected with multiple beams to form the rail device, which can be quickly located or moved.
Tooling guide for a mortise and tenon joint
A mortise and tenon joint tooling guide includes a base seat, two templates, an adjusting plate and a clamping structure. The base seat has a platform and an opening through the platform. Each of the templates can be arranged on the platform at intervals in a movable form. Each of the templates is formed with a guiding edge on one side. The guiding edges face each other and are used to guide the machining tool going through the opening to process a workpiece to form a mortise or tenon. The adjusting plate is configured on the base seat, capable of moving back and forth, and is used to abut against the workpiece, and to correct the distance between the template and the surface. The clamping structure is configured on the base seat, and is used to clamp the workpiece, so as to relatively position the platform and the workpiece.
Tool-holder fixed to a workpiece
A tool-holder including: a first rail and a second rail that are parallel and each of which includes first fixing elements configured for fixing said rail to the surface, a driving slide including first guiding elements configured to slide over the first rail, a drive system configured to move the driving slide along the first rail and a first fixing system, a driven slide including second guiding elements configured to provide a sliding connection with the second rail and a second fixing system, an assembly bar carrying a first complementary fixing system cooperating with the first fixing system to form a removable fixing between them, a second complementary fixing system intended to cooperate with the second fixing system to form a removable fixing between them, and a carriage having a first assembly system, and a movement system on which the carriage is fixed and that is configured to move said carriage along the assembly bar, and a support module including second fixing elements for fixing the tool and a second assembly system intended to cooperate with the first assembly system to form a removable fixing between them.
Method of supporting a tool and an apparatus for supporting a tool in an assembled apparatus
An apparatus for supporting a tool in an assembled apparatus. The apparatus includes a support structure, the support structure having a central member and a plurality of support members pivotally mounted on the central member. The support members are movable between a non-deployed position in which the support members extend a minimum distance from the central member and a deployed position in which the support members extend a maximum distance from the central member.
TOOL-SUPPORT SYSTEM
A tool-support system for working on holes of a surface. The tool-support system includes two rails fixed to the surface and having imprints regularly distributed over their length, and a mobile tool-support including a mobile optical system capturing an image of the surface. For each rail, at least one wheel is adapted to be moved on the rail, and includes on its rolling strip counter-imprints complementary to the imprints. A mobile tool carries a working tip, and a control unit is configured to control the movement of the mobile tool-support, of the tool and of the optical system to analyze an image captured by the optical system and to detect the presence of a hole. A tool-support system of this kind can therefore move along the rails without slipping while detecting the holes to work on them.
Method and System for Conforming Assembly Systems to Contours of Curved Surfaces
Methods and systems for configuring a manual and/or automated processing system to conform to a contoured surface of a structure are disclosed. One example includes an automated processing system with a flexible rail configuration. One or more turnbuckles and/or other actuators configure and hold the flexible rail configuration into conformity with the surface (which could be flat or of a curvature) during processing by the automated processing system. Additionally, one or more combination suction-cup pressurized-air devices may be coupled to the flexible rail configuration for selectively attaching the flexible rail configuration to the contoured surface and also for selectively releasing and/or facilitating elevation and movement of the flexible rail configuration above and about the contoured surface. A multi-function end effector may be associated with the flexible rail configuration and be moveable relative thereto.
Guided circular saw system and method
A guided circular saw system having a track and a ramp that is connected to a benchtop by a pair of hinge members. Hinge members are formed of a top section, a middle section and a bottom section and facilitate raising and lowering of the track in a quick and easy manner without tools. The track is raised to facilitate placing a workpiece under the track and then the track is lowered in place thereby engaging and holding the workpiece in place. A sled attached to a cutting device and the sled and cutting device slides along the track thereby cutting the workpiece. The track includes sacrificial grip strips that extend along the sides of the track and include an upper layer of material that is rigid and a lower layer of material that is compressible and has a high coefficient of friction and thereby holds the workpiece in place.
