COVER APPARATUS
The application relates to a cover apparatus for a machine, in particular for a machine tool, comprising a cover formed by at least one cover element. The cover comprises a drive motor that is configured and adapted to move the cover from a closed position into an open position. In addition, at least one electrical component is provided that is arranged at the cover. To connect the electrical component indirectly or directly to a control device or to a power source, a connection cable is provided that extends in a receiver that extends in parallel with the guide rail in at least one guide element or in the at least one cover element.

To provide a cutting apparatus capable of effectively removing swarf that scatters in a machining space, while reducing cost. A protective cover having at least one supporting profile and having at least one length-adjustable protective cover element, the supporting profile having a first connecting means for detachably connecting the protective cover element, and the protective cover being movable in a direction of movement within a predetermined range of movement, which is defined between a first position of the protective cover and a second position of the protective cover, the supporting profile being rotatably mounted around an axis in such a manner that the height of the cross section of the supporting profile is disposed essentially perpendicular to the direction of movement in the first position and parallel to the direction of movement in the second position.

Various aspects of a saw apparatus include a worktable, a cutting head that includes a circular saw blade, and a vacuum source. In a first aspect, the cutting head moves along a rail, and the vacuum source provides a negative pressure region beneath a trolley that moves along the worktable such that a center slot remains axially aligned with the circular saw blade. In a second aspect, the cutting head moves along a rail, and a dust guard is coupled to the circular saw blade. The vacuum source provides a negative pressure region above the worktable. In another aspect, the cutting head moves along a rail, and the vacuum source provides a negative pressure region beneath a trolley that is coupled with the cutting head via a pulley system that maintains an alignment between the cutting head and the trolley as the cutting head moves along the rail.
Machine tool
A machine tool includes a frame with two opposite frame sections, a number of leg elements arranged on the frame, and a first carriage having a first linear axis. The first carriage is guided on the two opposite sections of the frame and is displaceable in a first direction. A second carriage of a second linear axis is guided on the first carriage and is displaceable in a second direction A tower element has a third linear axis, which is retained on the second carriage. A machining element is retained on the tower element and is displaceable in a third direction, and a tool spindle is arranged on the machining element for receiving a tool.

A processing machine for the production of a dental workpiece from a blank, comprising a housing in which a first chamber and a second chamber are arranged, the second chamber being separate from the first chamber, a first holding device for a blank, the first holding device being arranged in the first chamber and being movable relative to the housing, a second holding device for a blank, the second holding device being arranged in the second chamber and being movable relative to the housing, and a processing device being movable relative to the housing, wherein a blank held in the first holding device and a blank held in the second holding device can be processed by the processing device.
Inherently rigid telescopic protective cover
The invention relates to a protective cover comprising a plurality of protective cover segments (1), which can be moved telescopically against one another and which have a covering leg (2) and a supporting leg (3), and comprising a connecting element or bellows (4). When the protective cover is telescopically extended, an elastic restoring element produces a torque (M) and transfers said torque to the supporting leg (3). The invention is characterized in that the elastic restoring element is an integral component of the connecting element (4) in that the connecting element (4) has flexural rigidity and is connected to the supporting leg (3) in a planar manner along a height portion (h) of the supporting leg (3). Owing to the invention, an additional elastic restoring element and the attachment thereof to the supporting leg are no longer necessary. Thus, the compressed size, the weight and the production complexity of the protective cover can be reduced, and the leak tightness and reliability of operation are improved.

Apparatus and method for discharge and comminution of a chip
In order to minimize the maintenance effort that accompanies discharge and comminution of a chip, an apparatus for discharge and comminution of a chip has a chip guide and a comminution apparatus, to which the chip guide guides the chip along a chip path. The chip guide has a guide channel that circumferentially surrounds the chip path having a channel inlet and a channel outlet, wherein the guide channel has a maintenance opening in addition to the channel inlet and the channel outlet. Furthermore, a method for discharge and comminution of a chip for this purpose services the guide channel by way of the maintenance opening after discharge and comminution of a chip having a predetermined chip length.

Device for machining a workpiece (10) comprising a housing (200), at least one machining head (210) carrying a machining tool (211), characterized in that it comprises an air system (300) for evacuating the chips produced during the machining of said workpiece (10) comprising: an air inlet (301) and an air outlet (302) and an air flow channel (303); a means (304) for causing an air flow to flow in said air flow channel (303); and an air passage through-hole (305) delimiting said air outlet, through which said machining tool (211) extends so that said air flow caused to flow in said air channel can be expelled from said housing through said through-hole in order to repel said chips produced by said machining tool out of said enclosure (201) of said housing.
