Machine tool having a covering hood guided in a displaceable manner on a slide guide rail

In a machine tool, in particular a laser machine tool, a workpiece slide or tool slide is movable along a guide rail and has at least two guide carriages that are guided on the guide rail. The machine tool has a covering hood that is moved along with the slide, for covering that rail section of the guide rail that is located between the two guide carriages. The covering hood is a part that is not connected to the slide. The covering hood is guided on the guide rail in a displaceable manner between the two guide carriages and is entrained in the displacement direction by the rear guide carriage when the slide is displaced.

Vertical machining center

Provided is a vertical machining center including: a splash cover fixed to a base, the splash cover defining a machining chamber to enclose a machining zone; a column vertically standing on the base; a Z-axis guiding rail disposed on the column and being vertically directed toward the base, the Z-axis guiding rail partially exposed to the machining zone; a Z-axis driving device disposed in the column, the Z-axis driving device partially exposed to the machining zone; a spindle head to be driven vertically by the Z-axis driving device; a spindle head opening formed in the splash cover so that the spindle head can pass through the spindle head opening; and an extendable cover provided between an edge of the spindle head opening and the spindle head and configured to cover parts of the Z-axis guiding rail and the Z-axis driving device, the parts being exposed to the machining zone.

Industrial machine provided with foreign matter expulsion mechanism

A foreign-substance discharge mechanism includes: a lubricating-liquid groove provided on a sliding surface of a wedge member and configured to receive a lubricating liquid; and a foreign-substance collector provided to the lubricating-liquid groove and configured to collect foreign substances existing in the lubricating-liquid groove. A first end and a second end of the lubricating-liquid groove are spaced apart from each other in a relative movement direction of the wedge member and the table bed. Disadvantages caused by the presence of the foreign substances between the sliding surfaces can be easily avoided by reliably collecting the foreign substances existing between the sliding surfaces using the lubricating-liquid groove and the foreign-substance collector.

A dust-proof device for machine tool worktable comprises a worktable, a worktable base, a stainless steel dust cover, organ-type dust covers and L-shaped dust-proof plates. The worktable base is installed on a machine tool bridge. The upper portion of the worktable base is provided with a U-shaped through groove. Two ends of the stainless steel dust cover are sealed by the L-shaped dust-proof plates. The upper portion of each L-shaped dust-proof plate is fixed on the lower side of the stainless steel dust cover, and the lower portion of the L-shaped dust-proof plate is fixed on the machine tool bridge. Each organ-type dust cover is disposed under the stainless steel dust cover and has one end connected to the worktable base and the other end connected to the L-shaped dust-proof plate. The worktable covers the stainless steel dust cover and is connected to the worktable base by means of bolts.

A telescopic cover has a plurality of cover pieces nested in the order of their size for extension and retraction. A rubber cushion is on a side surface of an end portion of an insert-side cover piece, a wiper is inside an upper surface of a receiving-side cover piece receiving the insert-side cover piece so as to contact the upper surface of the insert-side cover piece, and a stopper is on the inner side surface of the end portion so as to be offset from the position of the wiper and face the rubber cushion. When the telescopic cover is retracted so that the respective end surfaces of the receiving-side and insert-side cover pieces become flush with each other, a gap between the cover pieces is closed by the wiper.

Threaded rod for system for deploying a deployable divergent segment of a thruster

A divergent segment includes a stationary divergent portion and a movable divergent portion suitable for occupying a retracted position and a deployed position. The threaded rod has a head supported by a support secured to the stationary divergent portion in cooperation with a rotary drive for driving the threaded rod in rotation, and a tip suitable for being inserted in a holder sleeve secured to the stationary divergent portion. The threaded rod cooperates with a nut secured to the movable divergent portion so that rotation of the rod causes the movable divergent portion to move. The tip presents an enlargement having at least one groove passing axially therethrough.
