20240416440 · 2024-12-19 ·

A ring cutter for removing an ornamental ring encircling a person's finger is disclosed. The ring cutter includes an oscillating hand-held multi-tool with a blade substantially oriented at a right angle that oscillates to cut the ring. The oscillating blade has an oscillating amplitude small enough to avoid any injury to the finger. The ring cutter further includes a tissue depressor and guard attached to the head portion of the ring cutter and functions to push down the swollen tissues that surround the ring that need to be cut and help in avoiding finger injury. The ring cutter further includes a sprayer assembly to deliver a jet of cooling liquid (such as water) to cool down the ring and blade and prevent any thermal burn during the cutting operation.

Machine tool with recirculating coolant filtration system

Apparatus, systems, and/or methods for filtering, recapture, and/or recirculation of coolant are disclosed. In some examples, coolant (e.g., coolant fluid) is used to cool and/or clean a machine, such as a material removal machine, for example. In some examples, a recirculation tank may be in fluid communication with an inlet and/or outlet of a cabinet (and/or housing) of the machine. The recirculation tank may include a recapture reservoir having a filtering surface configured to prevent particulates, debris, and/or swarf from being recirculated with the coolant. A vibration device (e.g., a vibration motor and/or vibrating actuator), may be in contact with and/or configured to vibrate (and/or shake, rattle, oscillate, etc.) the filtering surface, recapture reservoir, and/or recirculation tank so as to keep the filter free from obstruction and/or help settle and/or compact filtered particulates in a bottom of the recapture reservoir and/or recirculation tank.

Device for detecting decrease in rotational speed of cooling fan of machine tool

A machine tool including a cooling fan measures an input power source voltage to the machine tool and an input current to the cooling fan. If the measured current value is outside a predetermined current value range corresponding to the measured voltage value, the machine determines that the rotational speed of the cooling fan has decreased.

ELECTRIC APPARATUS WITH FOREIGN MATTER DETECTION PANEL

An electric apparatus comprises a foreign matter detection panel arranged inside a casing and configured to detect contact of foreign matter. The electric apparatus comprises a detection controller which receives a signal outputted from the foreign matter detection panel and judges whether or not foreign matter is in contact with a surface of the foreign matter detection panel. The foreign matter detection panel includes a substrate, a transmitter which generates a surface acoustic wave on the substrate. The foreign matter detection panel includes a reflection array which reflects the surface acoustic wave in a predetermined direction and a receiver which receives the surface acoustic wave which has propagated along the substrate.

CLAMPING JAW AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CLAMPING JAW

A clamping jaw for clamping or holding a workpiece is described. The clamping jaw includes a base body and a clamping contour, which is provided for abutment against a workpiece and can be cooled by a cooling device. The cooling device is implemented by at least one coolant duct, which is provided for receiving a coolant and which is formed in the base body by a generative production (e.g., additive manufacturing) process. The formation of the base body is free of auxiliary bores. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a clamping jaw is described.
