Methods of the present teachings include: (1) mixing alcohol with a CBD and/or a CBG to produce an intermediate sanitizing composition; (2) cooling the intermediate sanitizing composition to a temperature that ranges from about 10° C. to about 30° C. to produce a cooled intermediate sanitizing composition; and (3) admixing the cooled intermediate sanitizing composition with an alcohol and water solution to produce the sanitizing composition.

The components are charged to a reaction vessel and subsequently reacted to produce a polyester polymer having excellent waterproofing properties.
