Air scenting appliance for a vehicle
An air scenting system for a vehicle is provided which includes an appliance and a replaceable cartridge installable therein. The replaceable cartridge contains a liquid compound to be aerosolized and has a cartridge outlet through which the aerosolized compound is discharged during operation. A pump is provided to supply air to the replaceable cartridge to generate the aerosolized compound from the liquid compound contained in the replaceable cartridge, and a controller is provided for controlling the pump to supply the air to the replaceable cartridge to generate and discharge the aerosolized compound from the appliance. The appliance is particularly adapted for dispensing scent into the interior space of a vehicle, and includes a form factor particularly well suited for positioning the appliance in a cup holder. Additionally, the appliance is designed for use in vehicles when a driver is present and readily adjustable by the driver to provide a uniform scent experience.

The present invention provides for a system for disinfecting air circulated in an HVAC system. The system includes a multi-phase system, wherein the multi-phase system comprises at least six segments, with at least one segment representing each of at lease one air intake, at least one air handler, and at least one connecting ductwork. The system has at least one interchangeable filter, wherein each filter in said at least one interchangeable filter is an elongate three-dimensional grid with a series of openings to allow circulated are to flow over the air filter's elongate surfaces. The system also has a plurality of ultraviolet lights, and an airborne disinfecting system with at least one spray nozzle mounted to said at least one connecting duct, wherein a supply hose connects said at least one spray nozzle to at least one reservoir of disinfectant.

A fogging system may include a fogging device including a fluid reservoir, a first fluid atomizer coupled to the fluid reservoir, and a processor configured to operate the first fluid atomizer to atomize fluid from the fluid reservoir in a first operating mode. The system may further include at least one fogging accessory removably attachable to the fogging device and comprising circuitry configured to identify a fogging accessory device type associated with the at least one fogging accessory, and a second fluid atomizer configured to atomize fluid from the fluid reservoir when the at least one fogging accessory is attached to the fogging device. The processor may be configured to detect the fogging accessory device type from the circuitry and switch to a second operating mode responsive to the detection, with the second operating mode being different than the first operating mode.

The plurality of plants may include each of a woody plant; a succulent plant; and a grass. Also provided is a method of manufacturing an antimicrobial composition, the method including the step of combining extracts from a plurality of plants selected from the group consisting of woody plants, succulent plants, and/or grasses. A method of controlling a microorganism including the step of contacting the microorganism with the antimicrobial composition is further provided. The microorganism may be located within an air conditioning system.

An apparatus for countercurrent exchange, including: a conduit, including: a side wall; an inner space; an air outlet disposed on a first end of the conduit; a liquid miniaturization device disposed in the inner space of the conduit near the air outlet, wherein the liquid miniaturization device is used to spray a liquid in a liquid direction; an air intake disposed on the side wall near a second end of the conduit; and a reservoir portion disposed in the inner space near the second end of the conduit for storing the liquid; a pneumatic conveyor connected with the air intake for introducing air into the conduit along an air flow direction; and a pumping device connected with the reservoir portion by a first tube, wherein the liquid direction is opposite to the air flow direction in the conduit.
