A guard assembly for an abrasive accessory of a power tool is provided, including a guard shell being associated with a first surface of the abrasive accessory and secured to the power tool around an output spindle of the power tool; and a guard cover being associated with a second surface of the abrasive accessory opposite the first surface and attached to the guard shell at a pivot point having an axis that is at a distance from an axis of the spindle, the guard cover being rotatably movable with respect to the guard shell around the pivot point.
Power tools with integrated circuit boards
A power tool which contains a casing, a brushless motor (22) mounted inside the casing, a user actuated switch (38) mounted on the casing, and a circuit board (32) mounted inside the casing. The brushless motor (22) is adapted to drive one or more movable parts in the power tool. The circuit board (32) is mechanically connected to the brushless motor (22) and the switch (38) at the same time. As only a single, integrated circuit board (32) is configured in the power tool, the manufacturing cost is reduced and greater reliance and electrical safety can be achieved.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN AUTOMATIC SAFETY PROTOCOL IN ELECTRICAL TOOLS
A system includes a power tool and an automatic safety system communicatively coupled to the power tool. The automatic safety system includes one or more sensors disposed about the power tool, where the one or more sensors are configured to gather data about a safety parameter related to an operation of the power tool. The automatic safety system also includes a main detector configured to receive the data gathered by the one or more sensors. The main detector is configured to analyze the received data to determine whether to unlock the power tool for operation.
Electronic braking for a power tool having a brushless motor
A power tool is provided including a housing, a brushless direct-current (BLDC) electric motor disposed inside the housing, power switches disposed between a power supply and the electric motor and including high-side switches and low-side switches, and a control unit configured to control a switching operation of the power switches to operate the electric motor and electronically brake the motor by simultaneously activating the high-side switches or the low-side switches to stop the rotation of the motor upon detection of a condition prompting the braking of the motor. The control unit is configured to detect the condition that prompts the braking of the electric motor, set a braking profile for braking the electric motor based on the detected condition, and execute braking of the electric motor using the braking profile.
WHEEL COVER FOR ELECTRIC TOOL
A wheel cover including a first cover attachable to a body of a power tool and a second cover removably attachable to the first cover reduces rattling of the second cover. The wheel cover includes a first cover attachable to a body of the power tool to cover at least a portion of a first surface of the tip tool adjacent to the body of the power tool, a second cover removably attachable to the first cover to cover at least a portion of a second surface of the tip tool opposite to the body of the power tool, and a rattle restrainer that reduces, while the second cover is attached to the first cover, rattling of the second cover relative to the first cover.
ELECTRIC TOOL
A power tool allows easy handling. The power tool includes a brushless motor including a stator and a rotor rotatable relative to the stator, a motor housing that is cylindrical and accommodates the brushless motor, a gear housing in front of the motor housing, a grip housing behind the motor housing and extending in a front-rear direction, and being cylindrical and having a smaller diameter than the motor housing, a controller housing behind the grip housing and accommodating a controller including a switching element, and a power cord connected to the controller housing.
Grinder dust shroud with input shaft gasket and adjustable mounting mechanism
An angle grinder dust collection shroud includes mounting brackets which are attached to a shroud body via slots which allow the mounting brackets to move to different circumferential locations around the output shaft of the angle grinder as well and inwardly towards and outwardly away from the output shaft of the angle grinder. The mounting brackets are adjustable in their position around the angle grinder output shaft to allow them to engage the angle grinder while avoiding any mounting features for the angle grinder's stock blade guard.

The electric tool including a motor having a stator and a rotor, a rotation shaft integrally rotating with the rotor, a casing accommodating the motor, a ventilating window disposed in the casing, a cooling fan sucking an air through the ventilating window to cool off the motor, a magnetic body disposed to the rotation shaft, a magnetic detection unit detecting a rotational position of the magnetic body, and a circuit substrate on which the magnetic detection unit is mounted. The circuit substrate and the magnetic body are disposed to be isolated from a wind path of a cooling wind generated by rotation of the cooling fan.
Dust collector
A dust collector in one aspect of the present invention comprises a dust collection portion, a communication portion, and an interlock operation control portion. When the communication portion receives an interlock command transmitted from an electric working machine, the interlock operation control portion makes the dust collection portion operate interlocking with the electric working machine. The interlock operation control portion includes a storage portion, in which identification information specific to the electric working machine with which the dust collection portion is to be made to perform the interlock operation is stored.
Working machine
A working machine includes: an output shaft to which a tip tool is attachable; a housing rotatably supporting the output shaft; and a protection cover attached to the housing so as to cover an outer periphery of the tip tool which is attached to the output shaft. The protection cover is configured to be displaceable between a processing position to expose a part of the outer periphery of the tip tool to thereby allow cutting of a workpiece, and a protecting position to cover the outer periphery of the tip tool more than in the processing position, and is biased by a biasing member to be displaced from the processing position to the protecting position.
