Monopodic sander and method for operating the same
A monopodic sander is provided for an operator to sand a surface. The monopodic sander comprises a rotary sanding head for contacting the surface and an extendable actuator rod having one end pivotally coupled to the rotary sanding head. The monopodic sander further comprises a controller handle operatively coupled to the one end of the extendable actuator rod to allow the operator to select a pressure applied by the rotary sanding head against the surface.
PROTECTIVE DEVICE OF POWER TOOL
A protective device of a power tool includes a fixing base having a tube portion and an abutting surface, a restricting ring fitting around the tube portion, several springs disposed between the abutting surface and a first end of the restricting ring, a protective cover having several second projections and several second recesses, and a locking member. The first end has an abutting portion. A second end of the restricting ring has several first projections and several first recesses matching with the second projections and the second recesses. The restricting ring is located between the protective cover and the abutting surface. When a blocking portion of the locking member moves to a first position, the blocking portion restricts the restricting ring from moving toward the abutting surface. When the blocking portion moves to a second position, the blocking portion leaves a position between the abutting surface and the abutting portion.
SLIDING RING FOR A GRINDING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SLIDING RING
A sliding ring for a grinding device consisting of a grinding element and a hood covering the grinding element and a sliding ring attachable to the side of the hood facing a surface to be machined, the sliding ring having a sliding surface provided for sliding on the surface to be machined, the sliding ring consisting of at least one elastic component and a sliding component, the sliding surface being formed on the sliding component and the elastic component being arranged on the side of the sliding component opposite the sliding surface.

Hood for Drum Sander
A drum sander having a fin for deflecting airflow around the drum and directing dust and debris to a dust collecting outlet. The fin includes a first section at a first angle and a second section at a second angle that directs air movement generated by the operating drum toward the dust collecting outlet. The free edge of the fin is shaped to wrap partially around the drum in two helical inclined planes. A tool free adjustment of parallelism may be provided. The workpieces are pulled through the sander rather than being pushed through. Lightweight materials reduce stress on the assembly. Heat is dissipated by the configuration and material of the drum.
Hand-held power tool having at least one machine-side contact element
A hand-held power tool includes a gearing housing part and accessory equipment. The gearing housing part has at least one machine-side contact element. The accessory equipment has at least one accessory-equipment-side contact element. The machine-side contact element and the accessory-equipment-side contact element can be releasably connected to each other.
Grinder
A grinder according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a motor, a housing for housing the motor, a spindle protruding from the housing and configured to be driven to be rotated by the motor, a wheel cover configured to cover a part of a tip end tool attached to the spindle, a detector configured to detect the wheel cover, and a controller configured to stop or restrict the spindle being driven by the motor in response to non-detection of the wheel cover by the detector.

Handheld, hand-guided cutting-off machine
A handheld, hand-guided cutting-off machine (10), which includes a rotating cutting-off wheel, a supporting housing part (36), an output shaft, which is rotatably supported around an output axis (40), a drive motor, a transmission mechanism (19), which connects the drive motor to the output shaft, a flange and a safety guard (24), which covers the cutting-off wheel over a covering area. The cutting-off wheel is rotatably fixedly mounted on the output shaft with the aid of the flange and surrounded by the safety guard (24), which is pivotable around a pivot axis. The safety guard (24), the supporting housing part (36) and the transmission mechanism (19) have maximum distances from the output axis (40) over an outcut angle (), which are less than or equal to half the flange diameter of the flange.
Grinding Wheel Guard
A guard attachment for a grinding tool has a metal body with an upper surface, a side wall along part of a perimeter of the upper surface, and a connector with which it can be attached to a grinding tool. Additional features include a bottom plate opposite the upper surface and a debris outlet attached at one end to the surface and side wall of the guard, and having a magnet removably attached to the other end. The bottom plate swivels outward from the body of the guard to facilitate changing the wheel or disk of the grinding tool. The magnet has an aperture allowing for the passage of air, but prevents sparks from escaping the guard attachment.
