Polymer bond abrasive articles prepared by the method include abrasive articles having arcuate or tortuous cooling channels, unitary structured abrasive discs, abrasive segments, shaped abrasive particles, and abrasive wheels.

The present disclosure relates to a chemical mechanical planarization pad and a method of making and using a chemical mechanical planarization pad. The chemical mechanical planarization pad may include a first component including a water soluble composition and water insoluble composition exhibiting a solubility in water of less than that of the water soluble composition, wherein at least one of the water soluble and water insoluble compositions of the first component is formed of fibers. The chemical mechanical planarization pad may also include a second component, wherein the first component is present as a discrete phase in a continuous of the second component.

The present disclosure relates to a chemical mechanical planarization pad and a method of making and using a chemical mechanical planarization pad. Abrasive articles and methods for forming same
An abrasive article can include a body including a bond material and abrasive particles contained within the bond material. The abrasive particles can include nanocrystalline alumina. The bond material can include an organic material. In an embodiment, the nanocrystalline alumina may have an average crystallite size of not greater than 1.5 microns. In another embodiment, the bond material and the abrasive particles may be mixed and the mixture may cure to form the abrasive article of embodiments herein.
Tool
The present invention discloses an improved tool, which comprises a reinforced member; and a resin layer is coated on the reinforced member, wherein the weight of the resin layer per unit area of the reinforced member may be less than 90 g/m.sup.2. The weight of the resin layer may be less than 15% of the total weight of the improved tool. The present invention dramatically reduces the production costs while maintaining the application performance unchanged.
