Brushing device for the working of workpieces

The brushing device contains a bundle of fiber rods (1), which are arranged parallel to one another, and a protective sleeve (2), which encloses the fiber rods. Once fiber rods (1) have become worn, the protective sleeve (2) is able to be axially adjusted, so that the free ends of the fiber rods (1) protrude beyond the protective sleeve (2) by a desired amount. A first component (4) connected to the fiber rods (1) and a further, second component (8) connected to the protective sleeve (2) are detachably connected to one another, in a non-positively locking manner, by a clamping mechanism (3, 5, 11).

WORKING METHOD FOR WORKPIECE AND POLISHING MACHINE BRUSH AND TOOL HOLDER USED THEREFOR

An object is to provide a working method capable of efficiently deburring and polishing a workpiece and making the life of a brush in use long in a machine tool not having power to directly rotate a tool and capable of working the workpiece by bringing the tool and the workpiece in contact with each other while causing the tool and the workpiece to perform a relative motion.

The present invention relates to a working method of working a workpiece by rotating a brush-like grinding wheel by causing a brush-like grinding wheel and a workpiece to perform a relative motion while bringing the brush-like grinding wheel and the workpiece in contact with each other in a machine tool not having power to rotate a tool.

A polishing method and a polishing film are provided for automatically performing multi-stage batch polishing on an end surface of a workpiece. An end surface of a workpiece and a polishing plate are moved relative to each other while bringing the end surface of the workpiece into contact with a polishing film of the polishing plate. The end surface is moved in a circular motion with a diameter 2 R relative to the polishing film; the center of the circular motion is moved linearly by a distance S on the polishing film; the polishing film is provided with first, second, and third polishing surfaces; and the polishing film is further provided with cleaning surfaces between the polishing surfaces so that the range of the distance S in which one rotation in the circular motion crosses over different polishing surfaces is reduced, or does not cross over different polishing surfaces.

A wheel deburring device. A second motor drives an upper brush to rotate, second cylinders enable the upper brush to fall through third posts, and burrs of a front surface can be removed when the upper brush is in contact with the front surface of a wheel; a first motor enables an outer ring and a first geared ring to rotate through a first belt; a third motor enables an inner ring and a second geared ring to rotate through a second belt, directions of rotation of the inner ring and the second geared ring are opposite to that of the outer ring, and brushes are driven to rotate through a gear; and fourth cylinders enable a lower brush to rise through first guide posts, and burrs of a back cavity of the wheel can be removed when the lower brush is in contact with that back cavity.

POLISHING BRUSH

A polishing brush (1) includes grinding element bundles (22) each including wire-shaped grinding elements (21) formed of an assembly of inorganic filaments impregnated and solidified with resin, and a grinding element holder (23) that holds the grinding element bundles (22). The grinding element holder (23) has an annular grinding element holding groove (28), and an adhesive (29) is filled in the grinding element holding groove (28). Respective base end portions (22a) of the grinding element bundles (22) are inserted in the grinding element holding groove (28) in such a state as to be kept apart from each other and are fixed to the grinding element holder (23) with the adhesive (29). Even when the diameter size or the like of each grinding element bundle (22) is larger than the width of the groove, the grinding element bundles (22) are deformed to conform to the groove, thereby being inserted into the groove.

POLISHING METHOD, BRUSH-LIKE GRINDING STONE, POLISHING BRUSH, AND LINEAR MEMBER AGGREGATE

A brush-like grinding stone (3) in a polishing brush (1) includes a brush holder (6) and a linear member aggregate (7) detachably held in the brush holder (6). The linear member aggregate (7) includes a large number of bundles (51) of the linear members (50) obtained by hardening aggregated yarn of inorganic filaments impregnated with a resin, and a brush holder (70) holding ends of the bundles (51). A linear member holder (70) in the linear member aggregate (7) is detachably attached to each of a plurality of holding holes (68) that is open in one side in an axial line direction L. In a case where any of the linear member aggregates has a failure, such as breakage, only the failed linear member aggregate needs to be replaced. Thus, it is not necessary to discard the entire brush-like grinding stone. Consequently, the polishing cost can be reduced.

The invention relates to a combined type wheel burr brush, consisting of a lower bottom plate, lantern rings, nylon brush units, an upper bottom plate, steel-wire brush units and the like, wherein the steel-wire brush units in II and IV areas are floating, and under a natural state, the height of the steel-wire brush units is 10 mm higher than that of the nylon brush units; when in work, the steel-wire brush units firstly contact a spoke of a back cavity of a wheel, burrs of the back cavity of the wheel can be removed powerfully when the steel-wire brush units rotate, the steel-wire brush units are continuously compressed, and when the nylon brush units also contact the spoke of the back cavity, burrs at corners can be smoothened; and when a small-size wheel is encountered, by removing the lower bottom plate, the fast locks and the lantern rings, a small-size burr brush can be formed. When the burr brush combining the steel-wire brush units with the nylon brush units of the invention is in use, not only can the efficiency of removing the burrs of the back cavity of the wheel be improved, but also the removing effect is very obvious, and meanwhile, the service life of the brush can be greatly prolonged.
