Straight edge clamp
The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and a stop assembly mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The head and stop are not connected together and the stop assembly is free to move with respect to the head assembly. The stop assembly has a locking assembly that allows it to be locked to the straight edge. The straight edge clamp body can include sections that are adapted to be connected together to form the overall length of the straight edge clamp.
Adjustable quick vise
An embodiment of a vise may include a clamping structure having a first clamping jaw, a second clamping jaw positioned relative to the first clamping jaw, and a quick adjust jaw guide to maintain the first clamping jaw relative to the second clamping jaw. The quick adjust jaw guide may include a driving element to apply a force to move the first clamping jaw relative to the second clamping jaw, wherein the driving element comprises a release structure to release the applied force to facilitate rapid adjustment of the first clamping jaw relative to the second clamping jaw.
Grip vise
A vise includes a stationary jaw at one end of a rail and including a moveable jaw member having a clamping surface, and a lever having a cam at one end engaged with the jaw member; and a moveable jaw on the rail and including a moveable member engaging with a limit member at the other end of the rail; a jaw element having one end secured to the moveable member and having a clamping surface at the other end, an internal moveable wedge secured to the clamping surface of the jaw element and having first and second inclined surfaces; two opposite arms pivotably secured to the moveable member wherein one ends of the arms contact each other and engage with the first and second inclined surfaces respectively, and each arm has a cavity on an outer edge; and two urging blocks complimentarily engaging the arms respectively.
Vise with diagonally oriented tensioning screw and locking racks
A vise with a sliding head which slides on an elongate body. A diagonal clamping screw passes through a hole in the sliding head and is threaded into a pin inserted in an internal sliding block. The internal sliding block has a toothed pattern which is able to interlock with a toothed pattern fixed to the body underneath the vise slides. The diagonal clamping screw provides force to lock the tooth patterns together and pull the head forward when tightened. A spring provides force to disengage the internal sliding block teeth and fixed teeth on the body when the diagonal clamping screw is loosened.
Modular side-by-side vise structure
A modular side-by-side vise structure including a base, a fixture block group located on the base, and a side clamping piece group; the side clamping piece has an upper part and a lower part, and a bolt is screwed in the upper part to prop the lower part, so that the stopper and movable fixture block cling to the base tightly; or the side grooves on both sides of the stopper and movable fixture block are provided with bolt holes, and the inner wall of side clamping piece is provided with a punch hole, the bolt is screwed in the bolt hole through the punch hole, so that the stopper and movable fixture block cling to the base tightly. Therefore, it is unnecessary to hold up the side clamping piece with a hand while tightening or loosening the bolt, favorable for the technician to implement quick assembly or disassembly.
Vise with improved stationary jaw
A vise includes a vise body having a base with spaced apart rails joined to the base, each rail including a flange with a surface having a slot. A movable jaw assembly is slidable on the surfaces is driven by an actuator supported by the vise. A stationary jaw has a key configured to engage the slots and has a surface facing the movable jaw assembly. Fasteners secure the stationary jaw to the vise body, where all of the fasteners extend through the surfaces of the vise body between the slots and the surface of the stationary jaw facing the movable jaw assembly.
Clamp for holding a workpiece for machining
The present invention provides a clamp for holding a workpiece that is particularly suitable for use in CNC machining. The clamp is particularly useful for use in picture-frame machining techniques as it allows a workpiece to be held in a position wherein a machine can have substantially unencumbered access to both sides of the workpiece without the need to remove the workpiece from the clamp. The clamp comprises a frame comprising a base, a first arm, and a second arm, the first arm and the second arm each mounted to the base at an inner end such that they are parallel with one another.
Straight edge bar with clamp and spreader
A straight edge bar clamp spreader comprises a straight edge bar, an inner channel portion, parallel channel portions, and two-way bosses or divots, a clamp, and a clamp-spreader. The inner channel portion is provided along an elongated central region of the bottom surface of the straight edge bar with a constant cross-section. The parallel channel portions are provided along two elongated parallel regions of the top surface of the straight edge bar. The two-way bosses or divots are provided across and on an inner surface of the inner channel portion of the bottom surface and an outer surface of the top surface and configured to define the predetermined stopping positions for two-way movements along the bottom surface or the top surface. The clamp is installed in the inner channel portion of the bottom surface. The clamp-spreader is installed in the pair of parallel channel portions of the top surface.
CLAMPING DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR A VICE
In a clamping device (1), in particular vice, the clamping device comprising: a housing (2) which is U-shaped in cross-section and in which one or two guideways (8) extending in a linear direction are incorporated, at least one base jaw (11) which is mounted in the guideway (8) and in which an internal thread (12) is provided, and a drive spindle (9) which is rotatably mounted in the respective housing (2), is arranged parallel to the guideway (8) and is driveably coupled to the respective base jaw (11),
the threads (10) worked into the drive spindle (9), through which the torques from the crank are transmitted for the linear displacement of the base jaws (11), should be permanently encapsulated in a watertight and airtight manner irrespective of the position of the base jaws (11) or the drive spindle (9), and on the other hand the adjustment travel (s) of the base jaws (11) or clamping jaws (13) should be as large as possible in order to clamp workpieces with configurations that can be completely different without the need for time-consuming and complicated conversion measures.
This is achieved in that a right-hand thread and a left-hand thread (10) are worked onto the drive spindle (9) in regions, in that the respective thread (10) of the drive spindle (9) is enclosed or encapsulated by a cover sleeve (21), in that the cover sleeve (21) has a right-hand thread and a left-hand internal thread (22), which are driveably coupled to the respective thread (10) of the drive spindle (9), in that a right-hand and a left-hand external thread (23), which is in engagement with the respective internal thread (12) of the base jaw (11), is worked on to the cover sleeve (21).
