Clamp and method of use
09873244 · 2018-01-23 ·

A clamp includes a fixed jaw assembly which has a fixed jaw and a movable jaw assembly which has a movable jaw. The movable jaw assembly is movable with respect to said fixed jaw assembly so that the movable jaw moves with respect to the fixed jaw. A handle is rotatably connected to the fixed jaw assembly, the handle includes a cam which moves the movable jaw assembly. When the handle is placed in a first rotational position the jaws are open and the movable jaw is disposed a first distance from the fixed jaw. When the handle is placed in a second rotational position the jaws are closed and the movable jaw is disposed a second distance from the fixed jaw, the second distance being less than the first distance. An adjustment is provided for changing both the first and second distances.

STRAIGHT EDGE CLAMP

The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and a stop assembly mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The head and stop are not connected together and the stop assembly is free to move with respect to the head assembly. The stop assembly has a locking assembly that allows it to be locked to the straight edge. The straight edge clamp body can include sections that are adapted to be connected together to form the overall length of the straight edge clamp.

Segmented Wood Bracing Assembly

A segmented wood bracing assembly includes a base that has an upper surface a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A pair of rails is attached to the base and extends between the first and second lateral edges. Each of a plurality of cradles receives a plurality of wood sections to be glued together into a polygonal shape. The cradles include a receiver having a top side, a first side edge and a second side edge. The top side has a convexly arcuate section for receiving the wood sections. Each of the first and second side edges has one of a pair of clamps mounted thereon. A strap has a first end and a second end. Each of the first and second ends is removably engaged to one of the clamps. The clamps is actuated to locked position to tighten the strap over the top side.

ADJUSTABLE QUICK VISE

A semi-automatic grip assembly device, especially for assembling golf club grips, comprises: a machine platform; a first clamping mechanism fixed at the first end of the machine platform, which clamps the head of the golf club, to fix the club head at a predetermined position; a second clamping mechanism fixed at the middle of the machine platform; a first moving platform fixed at the second end of the machine platform opposite to the first end; a second moving platform, which is arranged on the first moving platform; wherein, a handle expansion mechanism is also provided on the second moving platform, which moves in the transverse direction to align with the opening of the grip, and moves in the longitudinal direction along with the second moving platform to be inserted into the opening of the grip and open the opening.

Clamp locking mechanism

A clamp release mechanism is provided. The clamp includes a body, a shaft slideably coupled to the body, a fixed jaw, and a moveable jaw coupled to the shaft. A locking component actuates between a locked position and an unlocked position. When in the locked position, the locking component biases the shaft to remain stationary with respect to the body. The clamp includes a securing component pivotally coupled to the locking component, and a biasing element that biases the securing components towards the shaft.
