Bar clamp
A bar clamp has a slide bar supporting a movable jaw assembly. The slide bar is supported in a fixed jaw assembly. The fixed jaw assembly includes a drive mechanism for moving the slide bar relative to the fixed jaw assembly. Mechanisms for expanding the capacity of the bar clamp including the use of straps and two slide bars. Specialized jaws are provided where the jaws may be removable from the jaw assemblies. Additional clamping jaws are provided in addition to the movable and fixed jaw assemblies for varying the clamping force applied to a workpiece.
Slip Track K-Clamp
A vice grip type enhanced C-clamp modified to more easily grip the slip tracks on I-beams, comprising narrowed or tapered jaws to fit through the slots of a slip track.
Adjustable brake pad spreader
The adjustable brake pad spreader (20) compresses a brake pad against a brake caliper with the brake pad having a first flank and a second flank at opposite edges of the brake pad. The adjustable brake pad spreader (20) comprises a pair of frames (122, 222) and a pair of rods (138, 238) with each of the rods (138, 238) extending through the rear of each of the frames (122, 222) and along a pair of spreading axes (A, B) parallel and spaced an adjustment length (L) from one another. The adjustable brake pad spreader (20) further comprises an adjustment mechanism (84) supporting each of the frames (122, 222) for adjusting the adjustment length (L) between each of the spreading axes (A, B) to engage a brake pad at various distances between the first flank and second flank of the brake pad.
CLAMP WITH ROTATABLE ADVANCEMENT APPARATUS
A clamp is provided, said clamp comprising a clamp bar, a fixed jaw which is located at the clamp bar, a counter jaw relative to which the clamp bar is displaceable, an advancement apparatus on which the clamp bar is displaceably supported and to which the counter jaw is connected in translationally fixed relation, an actuating device which is arranged at the advancement apparatus and by way of which displacement of the clamp bar in an advance direction is actuatable, and a blocking apparatus by way of which displacement of the clamp bar in a counter direction to the advance direction can be blocked, wherein the actuating device is rotatable relative to the clamp bar and is rotatable relative to the blocking apparatus, and wherein the blocking apparatus is rotationally fixed relative to the clamp bar.
Truss setting bracket and method for use
A truss setting bracket and a method relating to setting a truss using the truss setting bracket are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the truss setting bracket includes an elongated body member having a first cradle, a second cradle, an elongated catch guide, and a locking arm. In other embodiments, the truss setting bracket includes an elongated body member having a first cradle, a bracket, an elongated catch guide, and a locking arm. In yet other embodiments, the method of setting the truss may include sliding the truss setting bracket over a member of a first truss, lifting the first truss towards a second truss, and removably locking the truss setting bracket to a member of the second truss.
WORKPIECE CLAMPING DEVICE CLAMPING AND SECURING WORKPIECE
A workpiece clamping device able to clamp a first workpiece and a second workpiece placed on the first workpiece. The workpiece clamping device includes a receiving base on which the first workpiece is to be placed, a first clamping mechanism for clamping the first workpiece, and a second clamping mechanism for clamping a second workpiece placed on the first workpiece. The first clamping mechanism has a first clamp section and a second clamp section, which are provided on the receiving base so as to open and close. The second clamping mechanism has a third clamp section and a fourth clamp section, which are provided on the receiving base so as to open and close, to retain the second workpiece at a predetermined position with respect to the first workpiece.
Clamping device for lifting and transfer objects
A clamping device for lifting and transferring objects can employ slanting interfaces to convert a pulling action on the clamping device to a clamping action on the object. A pulling element in the form of a triangle can be disposed between a jaw and a jaw support of the clamping device. When the pulling element is pulled up, the base of the triangle shape pulling element can exert a force on the jaw against the jaw support, for securing a gripping action on the object.
Object securing device
The disclosure presented herein relates to a clamp, vice, clasp or similar structure with an upper and lower jaw capable of gripping a surface. In use the jaws are separated and placed around the surface before being closed and tightened such that the clamp, vice, clasp reversibly grips the surface. A cord, strap, leash or similar structure is attached to the clamp. A spring loaded plastic toggle is attached to the end of the cord, strap, leash or similar structure. In use the cord, strap, leash or similar structure is secured around an item with the spring loaded plastic toggle. As the cord, strap, leash or similar structure is secured to the clamp the item is also secured to the clamp and the surface.
