A spring clamp for assembly fixturing includes a retainer that limits a minimum distance between jaws of the spring clamp when the spring clamp is in a relaxed state.

A universal tool holder configured for use with a machine tool is provided. The universal tool holder may be used for securing the machine tool in a relatively fixed orientation; for mounting and dismounting modular tools for milling and lathe computer numerical controls (CNC); and for assembling extension adaptors, reduction adapters, front clamp adapters, cutters, and other similar tools.

A ball joint press tool having at least one spring-plunger engageable with at least one adapter to releasably couple the adapter to the tool allowing for single handed placement of the tool regardless of orientation of the tool. The ball joint press tool has at least one adapter-receiving aperture and the spring-plunger has an adapter-engagement head, such as a ball, spring biased to at least partially extend into the adapter-receiving aperture on the tool. An adapter having a connecting projection defining a spring-plunger engaging detent, such as a groove, is insertable into the adapter-receiving aperture wherein the adapter-engagement head of the spring-plunger engages with the spring-plunger engaging detent.

A pivoting clamping assembly includes a carrier, clamping arm pivotably coupled to the carrier and configured to clamp or release a workpiece on the carrier, a lock arranged on the carrier and configured to lock the clamping arm when the clamping arm is rotated toward the workpiece, and at least one clamping block coupled to the clamping arm by a shaft and at least one resilient member. The shaft pivotably couples a pivoting joint of the at least one clamping block to the clamping arm. The at least one resilient member is coupled between the clamping block and the clamping arm.

A clamp assembly and method of clamping includes a fixture having a cavity formed by a facing surface. The facing surface in the clamp assembly can define a cavity periphery. In addition, a recess can be provided in the facing surface. An elastic member can be disposed within the recess.

A portable workstation platform is disclosed. The portable workstation platform includes a base and an accessory mount secured to a first surface of the base. An accessory locking fixture is coupled to the accessory mount. A pair of clamp fastening tabs is secured to the first surface of the base. Further, a multi-functional clamping device that includes the portable workstation platform is disclosed. The multi-functional clamping device includes a handle portion comprising a vice grip handle and a clamping portion coupled to the handle portion. The clamping portion includes opposing clamps, wherein the base of the portable workstation platform is one of the clamps and the pair of clamp fastening tabs on the base is configured to receive the clamping portion. A second accessory mount may be coupled to the clamping portion of the multi-functional clamping device.

An opening/closing mechanism of a cover member that can easily push down the cover member by the lever member even if the force from the base member side to the cover member is increased, improving the operability of the lever member. A solution is that the lever member 17 is rotatably supported to the base member 23 by the first shaft 31, the link plate 29 is mounted to the lever member 17 by the second shaft 32, the cover member 15 is mounted to the link plate 29 by the third shaft 33, and the link plate 29 is rotated around the axis of the first shaft 31 in the direction in which the lever member 17 closes, so that the link plate 29 moves through the second shaft 32, and the link plate 29 moves, so that the cover member 15 is depressed through the third shaft 33.

A jig for clamping that includes two or more clamping aid tools for use and mounting with various common tools, including a carpenter, framing and speed square, and various straight edges for easily and accurately positioning various objects, either flat and/or round, magnetic or not. The clamping aids can clamp to round pipes at correct angles while being fitted, secured and/or welded together.

A toggle clamp has a base with a support portion and a securement portion. A handle mechanism is connected to the base support portion. A clamping arm is movably supported by a pivot pin on the base support portion. The clamping arm is coupled with the handle mechanism. The clamping arm includes a clamping element that moves transverse to the workpiece. The handle is moved between a first and second position. The clamp arm pivots about the pivot pin on the base until reaching a stop position. The handle continues to a clamping second position as the clamping element moves linearly transverse toward the workpiece into a clamped position.

The embodiments herein provide a modular rosin press device for use with a base clamp device having a pair or opposing rectangular elements, the modular device having a proximal press assembly, distal press assembly, and proximal block assembly. Each press assembly preferably contains a metallic heating component with a channel sized to accept the rectangular elements of the base clamp device. Each press assembly may also include a heating element, insulating plate, ledges which extend inwardly, and ribs of various designs and orientations.
