OPENING-CLOSING DEVICE

The present invention provides an opening-closing device including a first component, a second component and a third component. The second component is rotatably connected with the first component, and the third component is rotatably connected with the second component. The present invention further includes a mode switching device for switching operating modes of the opening-closing device. The operating modes include a conventional mode and a labor-saving mode. When the opening-closing device is in the conventional mode, the third component is fixed relative to the second component. When the opening-closing device is in the labor-saving mode, the third component is rotated in the opening direction relative to the second component during opening of the opening-closing device, and the third component is rotated in the closing direction relative to the second component during closing of the opening-closing device.

Axial pliers

A tool having gripping jaw teeth that provide a contact pattern for engaging fasteners on-axis. The gripping teeth are formed in a depression disposed at a distal end of a jaw and are oriented at an angle that turns away from a major axis of the tool or an axis that is orthogonal to a plane formed by a front face of the jaw to increase the gripping force that can be applied to the fastener before the tool disengages or slips against the fastener.

Pipe wrench with improved design for side bite

A hand tool includes a handle section, a working end operably coupled to the handle section, and a jaw assembly disposed at the working end. The jaw assembly includes a movable jaw and a fixed jaw. A span defined between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw is adjustable. Each of the movable jaw and the fixed jaw includes an array of teeth defined by ridges that extend substantially parallel to each other. The array of teeth on each of the fixed jaw and the movable jaw includes a first set of teeth having a first width and a first depth, and a second set of teeth having a second width and a second depth. The first depth is less than the second depth and the first width is less than the second width.
