A space is formed between the two arms and the extension portion. An engaging portion is formed to the distal end of the extension portion for receiving a hand tool. A rotary head is pivotably located in the space of the function end by two bolts respectively extending through the two arms and connected to the rotary head. The rotary head includes an outer part and a control unit which is located in a through hole defined through the outer ring. The control unit includes a control part and a driving part respectively located on two opposite end of the rotary head. The control part is rotated to control the direction that the driving part rotates.
Surgical screwdriver
Various implementations include a surgical screwdriver that comprises a first rotating shaft configured to be rotated about a respective longitudinal axis, a second rotating shaft extending along a respective development axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the first shaft and having a shaped end tip that can be inserted into the head of a screw, and a transmission member interposed between respective first ends of the shafts to transfer the rotation from the first shaft to the second shaft. The transmission member comprises a pair of hemispherical elements, hinged together about a respective junction axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the first shaft, and each hemispherical element is in turn hinged to a first end of one of said shafts.
EXPANDABLE INTER-BODY DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
Expandable spinal implants, systems and methods are disclosed. An expandable spinal implant may include a first endplate, a second endplate, and a moving mechanism that is operably coupled to the first and second endplates. The moving mechanism may include a wedge, a first sliding frame and a second sliding frame disposed on opposite sides of the wedge, a screw guide housing a rotatable first set screw and a rotatable second set screw opposite the first set screw. The first set screw may be operably coupled to the second sliding frame and the second set screw may be operably coupled to the wedge. The moving mechanism may operably adjust a spacing between the first and second endplates upon simultaneous rotation of the first and second set screws and operably adjust an angle of inclination between the first and second endplates upon translating the first set screw or second set screw.
SWIVEL DRIVE SYSTEM FOR SCREW INSERTION
A swivel screw driver including an articulating ball joint mechanism. The ball joint mechanism may allow for up to the range of 40 of angulation. The ball joint mechanism provides for 360 of rotation while driving a distal tip. The driver can include a drive member, a ball disposed at least partially within the drive member, the ball including a drive pocket defined therein, a pin extending through the drive pocket and restrained on opposing longitudinal ends thereof to the drive member such that the pin can only rotate about its longitudinal axis, and a guide body connected to the ball.
Surgical screwdriver
Various implementations include a surgical screwdriver that comprises a first rotating shaft configured to be rotated about a respective longitudinal axis, a second rotating shaft extending along a respective development axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the first shaft and having a shaped end tip which can be inserted into the head of a screw, and a transmission member interposed between respective first ends of the shafts to transfer the rotation from the first shaft to the second shaft. The transmission member comprises a homokinetic spherical joint.
ATTACHMENT AND FASTENING TOOL
An attachment includes a planetary reducer, a reaction force receiving member, and a universal joint. The planetary reducer has a first output shaft and a second output shaft connectable to a socket. The reaction force receiving member is connected to the first output shaft and has an arm part for contact with an external contact object. The universal joint has an input-side end part connectable to a final output shaft of a fastening tool and an output-side end part connected to the planetary reducer. The reaction force receiving member is configured to rotate integrally with the first output shaft in a direction opposite to the second output shaft by a reaction force caused by rotation of the socket. The universal joint is configured to transmit the torque inputted from the final output shaft via the input-side end part, to the planetary reducer via the output-side end part.
QUICK RELEASE DEVICE OF HAND TOOL
A quick release device of a hand tool includes: a main body; an operating portion, including a slidable sleeve movably disposed around the main body and a pin radially inserted into the slidable sleeve, the operating portion further including a movable rod movably disposed in the main body, the pin connected with the movable rod; an annular plastic body, rotatably disposed around the slidable sleeve and corresponding to the pin, a stepped structure formed between the slidable sleeve and the annular plastic body; an identification portion, disposed around the annular plastic body; wherein the slidable sleeve is movable between first and second positions, when the slidable sleeve moves toward the first position, the pin drives the movable rod to move toward a fixing position; when the slidable sleeve moves toward the second position, the pin pushes the movable rod to move toward a releasing position.
ELASTIC SHORT-PIN TYPE UNIVERSAL JOINT
An elastic short-pin type universal joint includes a first base, a second base, a jointer, a first elastic member, two second elastic members, and four short pins. The first base engages the second base to form a space therebetween. The jointer is received in the space between the first and the second bases. The jointer has a first bore passing through the jointer, a second bore, and a third bore. The first elastic member is received in the first bore of the jointer, and the second elastic members are received in the second bore and the third bore. The short pins are urged by ends of the first elastic member and the second elastic members to press the first base and the second base respectively. As a result, the first base is able to rotate related to the second base in all directions.
Universal joint
A universal joint includes a first joint member having a first end to which a second joint member is coupled and a second end to which a third joint member is coupled. The first and the second joint members are pivotally connected with each other about a first axis of rotation. The first and third joint member are pivotally connected with each other about a second axis of rotation. A retaining device which includes a first resilient member and a first retainer working cooperatively for preventing inadvertent relative movements between the first and the second joint members. The first retainer is urged by the first resilient member.
Driving head-changeable tool
A driving head-changeable tool includes an outer sleeve, an inner sleeve and a limitation mechanism. The outer sleeve defines a central axis and has an end peripheral edge having corner portions and blocking flanges therebetween and a circumferential sliding slot. The inner sleeve is rotatably sleeved by the outer sleeve and has first and second connecting ends. The first connecting end has axial concaves. The limitation mechanism is mounted to the inner sleeve and extends into and movable relative to the sliding slot. When the limitation mechanism is located in a lock position, the outer and inner sleeves are unrotatable relative to each other and each concave overlaps axially with one of the blocking flanges; when the limitation mechanism is located in a release position, the outer and inner sleeves are rotatable relative to each other and each concave corresponds to one of the corner portions.
