Mutli-tool with length adjustable handle
A multi-tool incorporates an extendable spring-loaded handle that accommodates interchangeable tool heads using a quick-connect slip fit connection. The spring-loaded handle is capable of securing a selected length of the multi-tool in a locked position.
Wrench Structure
A wrench structure includes a first wrench body, a second wrench body, and a pivot member. The first wrench body is provided with a first mounting portion which is a hexagonal through hole. The first wrench body has a first end provided with a first pivot portion, and a second end provided with a second mounting portion which is a square head. The first pivot portion is provided with a first pivot hole. The second wrench body is provided with a second pivot portion which is pivotally connected with the first pivot portion of the first wrench body. The second pivot portion is provided with a second pivot hole. The pivot member extends through the second pivot hole and the first pivot hole, such that the second wrench body is pivotally connected with the first wrench body.
FLEXIBLE SHAFT SUPPORT ROD
A support rod for a hollow, flexible torque transmitting shaft for treating a bone includes support and flex portions. When the rod is received at a desired position within the shaft, the support portion extends through a first non-bendable portion of the shaft. An outer diameter of the support portion substantially corresponds to an inner diameter of the shaft to support the first portion. When the support rod is received at the desired position, the flex portion extends through a second bendable portion of the shaft. The flex portion includes a holding portion having an outer diameter substantially corresponding to an inner diameter of the second portion and a gap portion having an outer diameter reduced relative to the outer diameter of the holding portion to form an annular gap between the gap portion and an inner surface of the holding portion.
SIZING TOOL
A tool for sizing a workspace includes a first link with a link body and a tool element. The tool includes a second link connected to the first link, where the second link is capable of rotation or translation with respect to the first link, and where the first link and the second link are selectively securable relative to each other. The tool includes a third link connected to the second link, where the third link is capable of rotation or translation with respect to the second link, and where the second link and the third link are selectively securable relative to each other.
DENTAL SCREWDRIVER
A shaft for a dental screwdriver configured to be inserted into a bore cavity of a dental prosthetic. The shaft has a drive tip for driving a dental screw used to fix the dental prosthetic to the dental implant when the shaft is inserted into the bore cavity of the dental prosthetic. The drive tip is made of a shape memory smart alloy. The shaft also has an axial shaft portion made of a shape memory smart alloy with different material characteristics than the shape memory smart alloy of the drive tip. The axial shaft portion is configured to elastically bend from an original shape to a bent shape along the axial shaft portion without imparting a bending action and torqueing forces along the drive tip when the dental screwdriver is inserted into the bore cavity of the dental prosthetic.
Multi-Purpose Ratchet Wrench Extension
A ratchet wrench set including a ratchet wrench, an extension and sockets. The extension is employed both as a driver extension and a handle extension. The extension is used by a workman to assist in accessing a hard to reach fastener simply by manually coupling the extension to the ratchet wrench driver member at one end and to a socket to the other end of the extension. Alternatively, a workman can couple the extension to the ratchet wrench handle to extend its longitudinal length and thereby improve torque leverage. The extension may have a shaft that is adapted to improve a workman's handgrip so that whenever the extension is longitudinally coupled onto the handle portion of the ratchet wrench it may be more readily gripped.
LENGTH EXTENSION ASSEMBLY FOR A HAND TOOL
A length extension assembly for a hand tool comprises at least two elongated extension tubings each having a longitudinal passageway and being of a size and shape that one of the tubings may be selectively inserted into the passageway of the other tubing. The assembly also includes at least two elongated extension bars each of a size and shape that each extension bar may be inserted into an appropriate tubing. The tubings are provided with longitudinally spaced locking holes. Each bar is provided with a locking member which can enter and be engaged in one of the locking holes to connect the bar to its tubing. Optionally, one tubing could be inserted into the larger tubing and a locking member on the smaller tubing could be engaged in a locking hole of the larger tubing to connect the tubings together. Various length selections can be achieved by connecting a bar to at least one tubing or by connecting a bar to one tubing and connecting that tubing to a larger tubing. Additional length adjustment is achieved by the engagement of a locking member in an appropriate locking hole.
DISENGAGING SOCKET EXTENSION
A socket extension assembly adapted to be driven by a power tool is disclosed. The shell surrounds a connector and drive subassembly that are fixedly attached to one another and in axial alignment. A biasing member is interposed between the shell and subassembly to provide disengagement of the drive and shell in a natural state, and engagement and transmission of rotation when axial force is applied to mate the drive and shell. This enables a fastener to be loaded into the socket as usual and hand-started while the fastener is already loaded into the socket. After confirmation that the threads are properly and sufficiently aligned and engaged into the mating threads, the fastening process can be completed by applying axial pressure to transmit the rotational force from the power tool via the bit and the drive to the socket stem.
Two-piece guide bushing
Examples of a removal tool for a two-piece guide bushing are provided. A specific example comprises a handle, a cap coupled to the handle, the cap comprising arced slots; and a raised boss coupled to the cap, the raised boss configured to fit over the stem guide of a two-piece guide bushing. The guide bushing removal tool may be coupled to a two-piece guide bushing and the guide bushing removal tool may be configured such that rotation of the handle releases the guide bushing center of the two-piece guide bushing.
TOOL EXTENSION ROD
A tool extension rod includes a main piece, a sliding sleeve, and a magnetic assembly. The sliding sleeve is slidably sleeved onto the main piece. When the sliding sleeve moves between a first position and a second position, the magnetic assembly is movable along an axial direction.
