HAND TOOL WITH ADJUSTABLE FASTENING HEAD AND VARIABLE OUTPUT TORQUE
A hand tool for fastening a fastener, such as a screw. The hand tool comprises a handle and a rotatable fastening head connected to a first end of the handle, and engaged with a manually driven actuator. The hand tool further comprises a fixed fastening head connected to a second end of the handle, which is configured to apply a configurable fastening torque to the fastener The fixed fastening head is selectively pivotable with respect to the handle about an axis parallel to the center axis of the fixed fastening head.
Light Bulb Removal Assembly
A light bulb removal assembly includes a handle that may be manipulated thereby facilitating the handle to be directed toward a light bulb. A neck is coupled to the handle.
The neck is comprised of a bendable material. Thus, the neck is positionable at a selected angle with respect to the handle. A cup is coupled to the neck and the cup frictionally engages the light bulb when the handle is directed toward the light bulb. The cup rotates when the handle is manipulated. Thus, the cup removes the light bulb from a socket.
Vehicle O2 sensor wrench attachment
A vehicle O.sub.2 sensor wrench attachment is made integral with a safety latch for an air hammer rod. The safety latch comprises a jaw assembly that has a swivel tooth that is manually moved from an open position to allow insertion of the air hammer rod into the mouth. For a working mode using the air hammer to hit the jaw assembly, the tooth is moved to a locked mode. A ball and spring assembly ensures the air hammer rod, having a transverse rod, stays in the locked mode during operation.
DYNAMIC OFF-AXIS TORQUE WRENCH COMPENSATION
A torque wrench is provided that extends along a longitudinal axis and includes a head, a body, and a torque adjustment assembly. The head is shaped and adapted to engage at least one of a fastener or a torque-application adaptor aligned with a torque axis. The body includes a handle and a click-pivot assembly. The click-pivot assembly includes first and second members coupled by a link, and is configured to indicate application of a predetermined amount of torque via the handle. The head is pivotally coupled to the body via the torque adjustment assembly. A change in an angle between the torque axis and the longitudinal axis dynamically adjusts an amount of torque provided by the head by a predetermined amount relative to the predetermined amount of torque applied via the handle.
INNER C-SHAPED RETAINING RING ASSEMBLY
An inner C-shaped retaining ring assembly includes a base member having an inner peripheral surface that defines a receiving space and an annular retaining groove, and an outer peripheral surface having at least one aperture communicating with the retaining groove. An insert member has at least a portion received in the receiving space. A C-shaped retaining ring is elastically disposed in the retaining groove to prevent removal of the insert member from the receiving space, and is configured to be acted upon by an external force through the aperture to elastically deform toward the receiving space and form an insertion gap with the inner peripheral surface.
Angle Adjustment Structure for Pressing Hand Tool
An angle adjustment structure for pressing a hand tool comprising: a first handle, a second handle, a first spring washer, a second spring washer, a return spring, a first presser, a second presser, a first fastener and a second fastener. The first handle includes a contact sheet having a first thickness, a first toothed orifice. The second handle includes a groove having a second thickness, a second toothed orifice, a first fixing plate and a second fixing plate. A profile of the second toothed orifice is identical to a profile of the first toothed orifice. The return spring is defined on the first presser and the second presser. The first handle and the second handle adjust the angle when the first presser and second presser are pressed simultaneously, and being fixed by the first fastener and second fastener to avoid a removal.
Impact wrenches, wrench systems, and methods of use
Impact wrenches of the present invention generally include a handle including a slide hammer that is movable relative to a head end of the wrenches. The head includes a force translation portion positioned to translate force applied to the force translation portion from the slide hammer to rotate a tool connected to the force translation portion. When the tool is engaged with a rotatable fitting a substantially linear force applied with the slide hammer may be translated to the tool, which converts at least a portion of the force to a rotational force to loosen or tighten the fitting.
Combination driver/anti-rotation handle for shoulder arthroplasty
An instrumentation kit for use in preparing a bone to receive a prosthetic component includes at least one first combination device, the at least one first combination device including a proximal portion configured to couple with a torque providing device and a distal portion configured to couple with a first instrument, the at least one first combination device pivotable between a first position whereat the proximal portion and the distal portion are (i) longitudinally aligned and (ii) configured to transfer a torque received by the proximal portion to the distal portion, and a second position whereat the proximal portion and the distal position are (i) not longitudinally aligned and (ii) configured to transfer a torque received by the proximal portion to the distal portion.
HAND TOOL WITH FOLDABLE WORKING PART
A hand tool includes a handle having a room defined therein. A first and second lugs extend from the front end of the handle. A space is defined between the first and second lugs and communicates with the room. A working part is to be connected with a bit, and has a pivotal portion which is pivotably connected between the two lugs. A plate is connected to at least one of the first and second lugs, and has multiple first recesses and a second recesses. A positioning member is located between the pivotal portion and the plate so as to be engaged with one of the first and second recesses to position an angular position of working part. The working part is able to be pivoted and received in the room in the handle.
Universal Joint Structure
A connecting rod device for tools contains: a base, a connector, and a limiting element. The base includes a fitting portion, an accommodation portion and at least two locking grooves. The connector includes a spherical knob formed on a first end thereof and accommodated in the accommodation portion of the base, and the connector also includes a drive portion arranged on a second end thereof, wherein the spherical knob has at least two receiving grooves defined therein and corresponding to the at least two locking grooves of the base respectively so as to accommodate at least two balls respectively, and the at least two balls rotatably retain with and drives the at least two locking grooves of the base individually. The limiting element is housed in the accommodation portion of the base so as to limit the spherical knob of the connector in the accommodation portion of the base.
