INSULATED REVERSIBLE SCREWDRIVER
A screwdriver device including a handle having an elongate channel extending partially therethrough of the handle and an axial blade member having a first distal end and a second distal end being configured and disposed for sliding through the elongate channel of the handle and a locking mechanism configured and disposed for releasably locking the axial blade member at a first operable position relative to the handle wherein the first distal end is exposed and the second distal end is disposed within the handle. The screwdriver device further includes a first tool head disposed on the first distal end of the blade member and an ejection mechanism configured and disposed within the handle to constantly urge the axial blade member out of the locking mechanism from the first operable position to a second inoperable position.
Shaft securing mechanism for a tool
A securing mechanism is provided for a tool that allows for the attachment and release of the shafts of a variety of implements from the tool. The mechanism has a construction that provides an easily releasable, but secure engagement of the implement shaft within the mechanism while also having an alignment feature which engages the implement at multiple locations when engaged with the mechanism to maintain the alignment and concentricity of the implement shaft with regard to the mechanism and the tool when in use.
GAITER WITH COUPLING
An insulated tool gaiter with a non-conducting quick connect/disconnect coupling that can be coupled to a handle of a composite handled insulating tool. This allows a quick disconnect and reconnect to a number of different tools fitted with a corresponding coupling. The gaiter can be used in combination with insulating style tools to protect the technician. The insulated gaiter can be coupled to the tool at one end, and encapsulate or envelope the technician's hand, and is removably fixed at the other end with a cuff around the technician's forearm. The gaiter insulates the technician from arcing dangers while allowing the technician's hand to interface directly with the handle of the tool, allowing better control and grip that can otherwise be compromised when a technician is wearing thick, cumbersome insulating gloves.
Tool housing and method for making the same
A tool housing and method for making the same are disclosed. The tool housing can include upper and middle portions that are fully machined and coupled to one another. The tool housing can also include a lower housing that is partially machined, coupled to the remaining housing portions, and then fully machined. In doing so, the machining operation is eased and the portions of the housing are better aligned with one another.
Multifunctional torque wrench
A multifunctional torque wrench includes a main body, an operation member, and an indication device. The main body has a driving portion, a combination portion, and a twisting portion. The driving portion pivotally drives a fastener to rotate about an axis passing through the main body. The operation member is switchable between a first position and a second position with respect to the main body. The extension portion extends along a second axis. When the operation member is at the first position, the second axis is vertical to the first axis, allowing a user to turn the main body to generate the torque for driving a fastener. The indication device is disposed between the main body and the operation member for displaying the torque value. When the operation member is at the second position, the second axis is parallel to the first axis for storage.
HAIR CLIPPERS WITH FLEXING ELECTRICALLY ADJUSTABLE BLADES
A flex clipper provides a feature to help the cutting blade set float more effortlessly by adjusting automatically to the contours of a client's head to prevent getting stuck and causing cuts and irritation to the scalp. The hair clipper preferably also uses a self-contained motor-driven pivotable adjustment mechanism to adjust the relative position of the stationary and reciprocating blades of a common type of blade set. One or more on/off switches operable by the thumb of the hand holding the clipper to afford a barber total automatic adjustment with the clipper itself in an on or off condition.
Method of using a combination driver/anti-rotation handle for shoulder arthroplasty
A method of preparing a shoulder to receive a glenoid component includes accessing a glenoid of a shoulder, positioning a distal portion and a proximal portion of a combination power extension/anti-rotation device on a guide wire positioned in the shoulder and reaming a hole in the shoulder using the combination power extension/anti-rotation device with the distal portion and the proximal portion positioned on the guide wire. The proximal portion is removed from the guide wire and pivoted with respect to the distal portion while the distal portion is still positioned on the guide wire. The picoted proximal portion is used to rotate an instrument to a first position and a bore is formed in the glenoid through the instrument with the instrument at the first position.
The screwdriver device further includes a first tool head disposed on the first distal end of the blade member and a second tool head disposed on the second distal end of the blade member and an ejection mechanism configured and disposed within the handle to constantly urge the axial blade member out of the locking mechanism from the first operable position to a second inoperable position.
Connection tool
A connection tool contains a first fixing portion and a second fixing portion. The first fixing portion includes a first large-diameter hexagonal hole, a first small-diameter hexagonal hole extending inward from the first large-diameter hexagonal hole, and a first engagement orifice defined on an outer wall of the first fixing portion proximate to the first large-diameter hexagonal hole and communicating with the first small-diameter hexagonal hole. The second fixing portion includes a second large-diameter hexagonal hole, a second small-diameter hexagonal hole extending inward from the second large-diameter hexagonal hole, and a second engagement orifice defined on an outer wall of the second fixing portion proximate to the second large-diameter hexagonal hole and communicating with the second small-diameter hexagonal hole, wherein a diameter of the first large-diameter hexagonal hole is less than a diameter of the second large-diameter hexagonal hole.
Length adjustable connection structure
A length adjustable connection structure contains: an adjustment assembly, an engagement assembly, and a receiving tube. The receiving tube includes an insertion accommodated, a coupling portion, a groove, a trench, and an elongated slot. The engagement assembly includes a fixing portion, a toothed portion, a fitting portion, a hexagonal hole, and a circular hole. The adjustment assembly includes a connector, a locating orifice, a hexagonal column, and a C-retainer. The hexagonal column of the adjustment assembly is received in the hexagonal hole of the engagement assembly so that the engagement assembly is connected on the hexagonal column, the C-retainer is engaged in the notch of the hexagonal column, and the adjustment assembly and the engagement assembly are accommodated in the receiving tube, hence the toothed portion of the fixing portion is engaged in the groove of the coupling portion, and the fitting portion is fixed in the trench.
