Multi-tool

A multi-tool includes a pair of plates having respective handle portions, joint portions, and head portions, and the plates pivotally connected to each other at the joint portions and having respective opposite edges extended along the handle portions. At least one of the plates is to be pivoted relative to the other of the plates to establish an open position and a closed position of the plates, and, in the closed position of the plates, the plates to overlap each other and the opposite edges of the handle portions of the plates to be substantially aligned.

A snow chain system that attaches to the frame of a semi-truck and/or trailer, or a large commercial construction vehicle. The system includes a removable chain box, a chain barrel, a chain spreader, flashlight driver notification, a drag brake, a box swivel, and tire clamp. The snow chain is rolled out of the chain box directly onto a tire tightly with minimal human involvement. It provides for installed a tight snow chain onto the tire when rollout of the snow chain to the tire is completed. After snow chain use, it rolls up manually back into the chain box and is ready for immediate service should another need arise. All necessary equipment is organized, helping the driver with safety concerns.

WEDGE DRIVER AND METHOD THEREFOR

A wedge driver and method therefor is presented. A wedge driver can be operably coupled to different ends of a link joiner to drive a wedge therebetween to form a single link. The wedge driver can also drive the wedge out of the link joiner. The present disclosure provides the benefit of allowing the safe and effective removal of the link joiner by preventing violent or forceful decoupling of a link joiner. The wedge driver can include a trunk, a first prong, a second prong, a bolt, and a driver. The driver can be spring enabled, such that the driver can recede into the trunk as the bolt egresses the trunk. A bolt of the wedge driver can push a driver out of the trunk to axially drive the wedge into (or out of) a link joiner without rotating the wedge.

SYSTEM AND MULTICOMPONENT APPARATUS FOR REMOVING AND INSTALLING A CONTINUOUS TRACK ON A TRACKED VEHICLE
20210403108 · 2021-12-30 ·

The present disclosure provides a system and multicomponent apparatus for removing and installing a continuous track on a power machine or work vehicle. The system includes a support and biasing apparatus, an arcuate positioning component, a decoupling component, and interconnecting elements. The interacting apparatus and components include contact surfaces that bear against the continuous track surfaces to transfer and/or apply a series of forces, each force in the series comprising at least one of an upward, forward, or lateral force, or combinations thereof, to remove the track from or urge and install a replacement track into proper alignment and captive engagement with front idler and sprocket wheels of a continuous track vehicle wheel assembly. Removal and installation of continuous tracks is hereby achieved in a fraction of the time and with substantially less manpower than previously proposed solutions and methods.
