DEVICE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF ELASTIC BUSHINGS
A device for manufacturing bushings faster and for allowing a continuous manufacture process is provided. An elastic material with a bigger cross section area can be assembled between outer and inner sleeves with smaller cross section area. Many bushings can be assembled at the same time in each production cycle. The elastic material can be pressed together in one gripping element and stretched over a second gripping element before gripping and stretching take place.
TORQUE ROD PRESS TOOLS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A press tool for disconnecting a torque rod assembly from a structural support comprising an anchor plate, a brace plate, a drive rod supported by the brace plate, and a plurality of spacing members operatively connected to the anchor plate and the brace plate such that the press tool defines a tool opening. At least a portion of the torque rod end and the structural support are passed through the tool opening such that the anchor plate engages at least a portion of the structural member. The drive rod is axially rotated relative to the brace plate such that the drive rod engages at least a portion of the torque rod assembly and displaces the torque rod assembly relative to the structural support.

Apparatus and method for installing grommets in a vehicle
The disclosed subject matter includes an installation tool for sequentially mounting each of a plurality of grommets in an opening of a vehicle panel and related methods. The installation tool can include a receptacle including a case defining a storage space configured to accommodate the plurality of grommets. The receptacle can include an opening in communication with the storage space, the opening configured to hold a respective one of the grommets in an installation position in which a first portion of one of the grommets protrudes through the opening and a second portion of the respective one of the grommets is located in the storage space. A biasing structure can be movably mounted in the case and configured to bias each of the grommets in the storage space toward the installation position.

BUSHING HANDLE
A bushing handle for use with a renewable bushing. The bushing handle facilitates a quick-change configuration by using a liner bushing disposed in a through bore. The liner bushing can accept a plurality of different renewable bushings having various inner diameters and other characteristics, eliminating the need to stock and store a multitude of different bushing handles. The liner bushing may be a lock liner, which facilitates the quick-change function, and provides a ground inner diameter, which is more resistant to wear and tear than the light metal construction of the handle itself.

Panel insert removal tool and method
Removal tool and method for removing a panel insert from a panel. In one embodiment, the removal tool includes a tool frame to straddle a panel insert installed in a panel, and a puller rod slidably disposed perpendicularly through the tool frame. One end of the puller rod engages the panel insert. The removal tool further includes a biasing member that applies an axial force to the puller rod away from the tool frame, and a heater to apply heat to the panel insert.
RING ASSEMBLY METHOD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
A process of setting a front end-side retaining ring at a small diameter part of a ring temporary holding jig. A process of causing the ring temporary holding jig to temporarily hold the front end-side retaining ring by using a first ring press member. A process of attaching the ring temporary holding jig to a shaft. A process of transferring the front end-side retaining ring from a large diameter part of the ring temporary holding jig to a first outer peripheral surface of the shaft by using a second ring press member including a dimension shorter than a dimension of the first ring press member. A process of sliding the front end-side retaining ring on the first outer peripheral surface of the shaft to assemble the front end-side retaining ring in the ring groove by using the second ring press member.
Systems And Methods For Inserting And Removing Bushing Assemblies
A bushing displacing system comprising an engaging member and a brace member. The engaging member is configured to engage the brace assembly to displace the engaging member in the displacement direction and at least a portion of the bushing assembly to displace at least a portion of the bushing assembly in the displacement direction. The brace member is adapted to engage the brace assembly and the structural member. Operation of the actuator displaces at least one of the brace assembly and the engaging member in the displacement direction relative to the structural member such that the engaging member displaces at least a portion of the bushing assembly towards a desired position relative to the housing opening in the structural member.
