Power tool
A power tool includes a motor, a housing, a battery holder and a cushion. The battery holder is held by the housing to be movable at least in a first direction relative to the housing. The battery holder is configured to removably receive a battery for supplying electric power to the motor. The cushion is held by the housing such that the first direction intersects the cushion. When the battery is attached to the battery holder, the cushion is directly or indirectly disposed between the battery and the housing.
Handheld power tool having a drive motor operable via a manual switch
In a handheld power tool having a drive motor operable via a manual switch for driving a drive body which is associated with a mechanical percussion mechanism and coupled to a percussion member for driving an output shaft provided with a tool receptacle, and an operating mode switchover element which is designed to switch over between a normal operation and a percussion operation of the percussion mechanism and which is coupled to the drive body being associated with the drive body, an operating device is provided for operating the operating mode switchover element which is coupled to the manual switch and which is designed to enable a switchover of the operating mode switchover element between normal operation and the percussion operation of the percussion mechanism by operating the manual switch.
Control method and dust extraction module
Control method for a dust extraction module (2) for a chiseling tool (5), including the following steps: using a fan (18) of the dust extraction module (2) to draw in an air flow Q from a certain place of a substrate (31) being worked by the tool (5), using a material detector (24) to identify the material M at the place of the substrate being worked by the tool (5), and adapting the suction power of the dust extraction module (2) as a function of the identified material M in order to set the air flow Q. The air flow Q is greater than or equal to a rated value Qo in the case of an iron-free mineral material M1, whereas the air flow Q is less than the rated value Qo in the case of a material M2 containing iron.
Pavement breaker
A pavement breaker has a housing, a hammer mechanism mounted within the housing, and at least one handle moveably mounted on the housing. The handle(s) can move in a vertical direction when the pavement breaker is orientated in its normal operation orientation. A sensor is mounted within the housing for detecting when the handle(s) is moved towards or at its uppermost position. If the sensor detects such handle position, the hammer mechanism is deactivated.
Rotary hammer
A rotary hammer includes a motor, a manipulation member, a main switch, a mode-switching member, a first locking member and a second locking member. The first locking member is configured to selectively lock the manipulation member in an OFF position according to a switching position of the mode-switching member. The second locking member is configured to selectively lock the manipulation member in an ON position according to the switching position of the mode-switching member. The first locking member is allowed to lock the manipulation member in the OFF position both when a hammer mode has been selected and when a drill mode has been selected. The motor is allowed to be driven in a state in which the manipulation member is locked in the ON position by the second locking member only when the hammer mode has been selected.
Electric tool
Provided is an electric tool with which work efficiency can be improved. A controller of an electric tool can execute: a first control, whereby during a non-operating state after a motor has started up and before a tip tool is set to be in an operating state, the motor is driven at a slow idling rotation speed, and when the tip tool is set to be in the operating state, the motor is driven at a normal rotation speed which is higher than the slow idling rotation speed; and a second control, whereby in a case where a trigger switch has been turned off in a state where the motor is being driven at the normal rotation speed and the trigger switch is thereafter turned on again under a prescribed condition, the motor is driven at the normal rotation speed regardless of the state of the tip tool.
Power Tool
A power tool for chiseling and drilling includes a housing, a motor disposed inside the housing, and a pneumatic percussion mechanism. An operation mode selector switch is disposed on the housing and has a first operation mode setting and a second operation mode setting where the first operation mode setting activates the pneumatic percussion mechanism and the second operation mode setting deactivates the pneumatic percussion mechanism. A valve has an inlet-port formed inside the guiding tube and an outlet-port formed outside the guiding tube where the valve is connected to the operation mode selector switch. The valve is closed in the first operation mode setting which disables an air exchange between the inlet-port and the outlet-port and the valve is open in the second operation mode setting which enables the air exchange between the inlet-port and the outlet-port.
CURRENT SENSING IN POWER TOOL DEVICES USING A FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR
Power tool devices described herein include a housing, a power source interface, a field effect transistor within the housing connected between the power source interface and a load of the power tool device, and an electronic processor coupled to the field effect transistor. The electronic processor is configured to control the field effect transistor to drive the load and measure a voltage at a terminal of the field effect transistor. The electronic processor is also configured to determine the current flowing through the field effect transistor based on the voltage without using a shunt resistor.
ROTARY POWER TOOL INCLUDING TRANSMISSION HOUSING BUSHING
A rotary power tool comprises a drive mechanism including an electric motor and a transmission, a housing enclosing at least a portion of the drive mechanism, a spindle rotatable in response to receiving torque from the drive mechanism, a first ratchet coupled for co-rotation with the spindle, a second ratchet rotationally fixed to the housing, a sleeve bushing on an interior of the housing, and a bearing arranged between the spindle and the sleeve bushing and rotatably supporting the spindle. The bearing has an outer race. The spindle is movable relative to the housing in response to contact with a workpiece, causing the first and second ratchets to engage and the spindle to reciprocate while rotating. The outer race of the bearing moves along the sleeve bushing during reciprocation of the spindle when the first ratchet and second ratchet are engaged.
Electric working machine
An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a motor; a controller for controlling driving of the motor; a first setter; and a second setter. The first setter is operated for setting, as a control method for the motor, which is usable by the controller, one of control methods preliminarily registered. The second setter is operated for setting, as a control method for the motor, which is usable by the controller, at least one of the control methods settable via the first setter.
