The arcuate guide, the mount assembly, and the at least one support bar are configured to maintain the reaction force in alignment with a center of gravity of the tool as the tool is rotated with respect to the center of gravity.

AUTOMATIC DRILLING MACHINE FOR DRILLING IN ONE-SHOT AT LEAST TWO HOLES IN A CROSSPIECE STRUCTURE

An automatic drilling machine for simultaneously drilling at least two holes through a surface of a crosspiece. The machine comprises an automatic drilling unit having at least two tool holders, each one adapted for receiving a drilling tool. The automatic drilling unit has a cross-shaped channel configured to receive, at least partially, the crosspiece to be drilled inside the automatic drilling unit with. The tool holders are arranged, such as, when the drilling machine is mounted with the crosspiece to be drilled, the tool holders are positioned in accordance with the locations of the crosspiece where a hole is to be drilled.

Device for receiving a hand-held power tool

A device for receiving a hand-held power tool is provided. The device can serve as an interface between the hand-held power tool and a support or carrying structure and comprises a first and a second fastening means and a counter structure. With the interface it is possible to optimally adapt the suspension of the hand-held power tool to the center of gravity of the hand-held power tool. In addition, the interface can be adapted to different hand-held power tools or types of hand-held power tools by an adjustable distance between the first fastening means and the counter structure or an adjustable diameter of the counter structure. In further aspects, the invention relates to the use of the interface for fastening a hand-held power tool to a support structure, and to a corresponding method.

Assembly system for monitoring proper fastening of an article of assembly at more than one location

A more reliable and fool-proof method and apparatus for assembling an article of assembly (e.g. with predetermined screw torque requirements) in which the article of assembly has multiple fastening locations. The method comprises holding the article of assembly fixed while providing at least two different types of targets fixed relative to the article of assembly that correspond to the individual fastening locations. Fasteners are fastened into the article of assembly at the fastening locations. When fastening is occurring at one of the fastening locations, one of the targets is being sensed. Based on the target sensed, a target output is generated that differentiates between different types of targets thereby indicating fastening location of the fastening tool. The electronic target output is used for electronic control such as for stopping a conveyor to keep the article of assembly at an assembly station until the fastening operations have been completed.
