Extension operating device for power tools
An assembly for supporting the extended operation of mounted power hand tools is provided. The power tool extension apparatus extends between a baton-style handle and a depth-adjusting single wheel correlated to enable the operator to control the mounted power hand tool in a one-handed walk along manner. The alignment of the power tool extension apparatus, the mounted power tool, and the centrally disposed single wheel facilitates a wide range of selective pivotal motion of the single wheel and thus the mounted power tool about the extension apparatus.
Toe notch plate
A toe notch plate is described that attaches to a router and maintains the router at a predefined angle from a work piece. The toe notch plants further maintains a router bit at a consistent and predetermined distance from an edge of the work piece. When the router is moved along the edge of the work piece, the toe notch plate causes a groove to be formed in the work piece, where the groove has a structure suitable for use of a nail gun or a staple gun, and an entry point for nails or staples. This allows the work piece with the groove to be toe nailed to another piece of wood.
Guide for a fastener hand tool
A guide for a fastener hand tool is disclosed including a truck having slidable engagement with a track affixed to the fastener hand tool. The slidable engagement comprises mated interlocking geometries between the truck and the track. A clamping mechanism is disposed on the truck for temporarily clamping opposing sides of the truck to the track at a desired position along the track and a contact piece having a non-marring, wear resistant surface is affixed to the truck. The contact piece is disposed for referencing against a guiding edge for a workpiece relative to the fastener delivery point. The truck can comprise a symmetrical shape such that the truck can be alternately engaged to the track with the clamping mechanism on a left side of the fastener hand tool or with the clamping mechanism on a right side of the fastener hand tool.
TOOL ALIGNMENT DEVICE
A tool alignment device for mounting on a tool having a stop, especially on a drilling and/or countersinking tool having a single-piece tool shaft and a stop, for alignment of a drill hole and/or countersink to be introduced or for alignment of a finishing step in relation to a normal to the surface of a workpiece, comprising a main part and a through hole. Upon mechanical contact between the tool alignment device and the surface of the workpiece, a signaling device is actuated and emits alignment signal(s) during alignment in an alignment direction, and the stop of the tool can be accommodated in the main part, which comprises a guide device which establishes a connection between a stop sleeve of the stop and the tool alignment device such that the stop can be aligned in the alignment direction. Also, a drilling, milling and/or countersinking tool having a stop.
SYSTEM FOR LOCATING FENCES ON DRILL PRESS AND ROUTER TABLES
According to one embodiment, a system for locating a drill press or router table fence comprises a center-post insert having a protrusion located in a central portion of the center-post insert, a center-point template having a plurality of openings sized to closely receive the center-post insert, wherein the openings are located at a range of predetermined distances, and a fence having a securing mechanism, the fence located at a distance set by the center-point template, wherein the center-point template is placed on the center-post insert at a chosen opening, and the fence is secured against the center-point template at a distance determined by the chosen opening.
WORKTOP JIG
A worktop jig comprising a jig frame, wherein the jig frame comprises a pair of opposed end members and a pair of opposed side members; the opposed end members and the opposed side members together define a rectangular aperture within the jig frame; the opposed end members and the opposed side members each define an upwardly facing surface and the upwardly facing surfaces are arranged to lie in a common plane; and each of the opposed side members defines a downwardly facing surface, wherein each side member downwardly facing surface carries an angled elongate base element, whereby when the angled base elements of the worktop jig are located on a planar substrate, the common plane of the jig frame is angled with respect to the plane of the substrate
Targeting system for portable drill press
A targeting tool releasably holds a portable drill press on a work piece while drilling a hole in the work piece. The portable drill press includes a tubular column with an open bottom end and a mechanical advantage device. The mechanical advantage device moves a drill up and down along the tubular column. A targeting base includes a base for releasable engagement with the work piece, an upstanding post affixed to the base that is adapted for engagement with the open end of the tubular column, and optionally, a drill guide in the base through which a drill bit passes as the drill moves up and down along the tubular column.
SYSTEM HAVING A GUIDE RAIL AND A CARRYING DEVICE
A system including at least one guide rail (21, 22) which is provided for guiding a hand-held power tool (11), has an elongate shape and extends along a longitudinal axis, wherein the guide rail (21, 22) has, on mutually opposite sides, a contact face (24) for the guide rail (21, 22) to rest on a workpiece (W), and has a guide face (23), in front of which a longitudinal guide face (31), extending along the respective longitudinal axis (L1, L2), for guiding the hand-held power tool (11) protrudes parallel to the longitudinal axis (L1, L2). The system includes a carrying device (200) having a carrying body (201, 202) and a carrying handle (120), arranged on the carrying body (201, 202), to be grasped by an operator (BE), wherein the guide rail (21, 22) has, for connecting to the carrying device (200), form-fitting contours (34) which are able to be brought into engagement with mating form-fitting contours (124) of the carrying device (200) such that the guide rail (21, 22) is able to be carried by a user (BE) using the carrying handle (120).
HOLDING ELEMENT FOR A SUPPORTING AND/OR GUIDING DEVICE
