Deburring cutter

The present invention generally relates to cutting devices. Specifically, the present invention relates to a deburring cutter device. In some examples, the deburring cutter includes a handle module, a blade, and a blade cover. In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the handle module includes a blade holder configured with a blade cavity having walls which are adapted to reversibly secure the blade, allowing the blade to be selectively removed.

KNIFE WITH A KNIFE HANDLE AND A BLADE

A knife has a knife handle and a blade, the blade being extendable and retractable in relation to the knife handle. A reinforcing part is provided which can support an extended portion of the blade, and is movable in respect of the knife handle and is detachably connected to the blade. Alternatively, the knife has a blade-moving carriage and/or a reinforcing part-moving carriage and a latching holder for latch-adjusting different extended positions of the blade is provided. In another embodiment, the blade-moving carriage has a holding magnet for holding cooperation with the blade. In yet another embodiment, a closing cap is arranged on the knife handle at the rear end of the blade, the closing cap closing the movement path for the blade-moving carriage and/or the reinforcement part-moving carriage.

CUTTING AND PIERCING SYSTEMS

Contemplated cutting systems are provided that include a blade, a blade holder, and a non-cutting surface. The non-cutting surface is configured to contact a surface to be cut. As the cutting system is moved across the surface and the non-cutting surface is rotated against the surface, the blade is configured to (i) pierce the surface with a first piercing edge and (ii) cut the surface with a first cutting edge. Contemplated cutting systems can be incorporated into hand or machine operated cutting tools.

A cutting device is disclosed. The cutting device has a housing and a carriage that is movably disposed in the housing, the carriage being movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The cutting device also has a cutting member that is removably disposable in the carriage and a cover member that is removably attachable to the housing. The housing has a locking member. When the carriage is in the extended position and the cover member is attached to the housing, the locking member locks the cover member to the housing. When the cutting member is disposed in the carriage in the extended position, the cutting member is retained in the housing by the locked cover member.

Safety Cutter with Blade Change/Storage Mechanism

A cutter apparatus includes a housing and a blade holder coupled to the housing, wherein the housing includes a distal portion (e.g., a blade storage compartment) that is both slidably and pivotally coupled to portions of the housing and configured to serve as a cover for the blade holder. The cutter apparatus can also include a cover release device configured to facilitate repositioning the cover between a locked position at which the cover is secured to the housing and a released position at which at least a portion of the cover is free to pivotally reposition away from the housing providing access to the blade holder.

Self-retracting knife with a plurality of extended cutting positions

A knife includes a handle body defining an interior blade-slide cavity housing a blade slide carrying a blade with a cutting edge. The blade slide is reciprocated within the blade-slide cavity between a blade-storage position in which the cutting edge is housed within the handle body and at least two blade-protruding positions in which the cutting edge protrudes to the exterior of the handle body, through a forward-end opening, to disparate extents. Blade-slide reciprocation is facilitated by a blade-slide actuator that includes a button reciprocable along an actuator slot defined through the handle body. A handle-body undulated surface defined along the handle body in the vicinity of the actuator slot is configured for selective mechanical interference with a button undulated surface in order to define the at least two blade-protruding positions. A blade-protruding position is temporarily maintained through a user's depression of the button to maintain the selective interference.

Utility knife

An ergonomically designed, auto-retracting utility knife that can safely remain in the user's hand while performing non cutting tasks. This invention allows a person to continue with the jobs they were performing by having the ability to use both hands and not having to set the utility knife down between manual tasks, thus saving time and increasing efficiency. An auto-retracting blade decreases the risk lacerations and other hand/wrist injuries to the user and others during routine use of the knife.

Automatically retracting scraper with blade stop

An auto-retract scraper is described herein. The auto-retract scrape comprises a housing, a slider, a blade, a rotating hard stop, and a torsion spring. The rotating hard stop is rotated clockwise forcing the blade forward and out of the housing when the slider is engaged.

Box cutter

A box cutter includes a handle, a holder and a linkage. The handle includes a front slot in communication with a space. The holder is formed with a boss and operable for holding a portion of a blade. The linkage includes a sliding element formed with a pusher. The linkage is operable to move the sliding element toward the holder to abut the pusher against the boss to move the holder toward the front slot to extend a pointed end of the blade from the space through the front slot when the boss is located between the front slot and the pusher. The pusher is biased from the boss to allow the holder to return to its original position when the pusher is located between the front slot and the boss.
