OBJECT SANITIZER USING OZONE AND IONIC AIR MOVER

A sanitizing device includes an enclosed chamber, an ionic air mover and a closed recirculation path. The chamber is designed to contain the object to be sanitized. For example, if the object is a mobile phone (or other portable electronics or small objects), the chamber may have the same approximate shape as the mobile phone. The chamber may contain a lid that is opened to allow insertion of the mobile phone into the chamber and then closed with a good seal to create an enclosed chamber with low leakage. The ionic air mover performs two functions. It creates an air flow through the use of corona discharge. It also ionizes oxygen to create ozone that will be used to sanitize the object of interest.
