DILATION CATHETER TIP REMOVAL INSTRUMENT
An apparatus includes a base housing, an actuator, and a blade. The base housing defines an upwardly presented support surface. The base housing also defines a distally oriented tip receiving recess. The distally oriented tip receiving recess is sized and configured to receive a bulbous distal tip of a dilation catheter. The actuator is movably coupled with the base housing. The blade us secured to the actuator. The actuator is operable to move the blade downwardly relative to the base housing. The blade is configured to sever a portion of a dilation catheter along a plane longitudinally interposed between the support surface and the tip receiving recess to thereby sever the bulbous distal tip of the dilation catheter in response to movement of the actuator relative to the base housing.
CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool having multiple functional faces and an adjustable blade. The cutting tool may include a solid body having multiple functional faces, a blade, and a peg. The multiple faces of the solid body may include a cutting face, a gripping face, a base face, one or more securing faces and a pressure face. The cutting face may be curved and may form a receiving bay for receiving an item to be cut and may include a plurality of slots. The blade may be secured in any one slot of the plurality of slots. The peg may help to secure the blade within the cutting face. The cutting tool may also include a compartment for storing extra blades.
Apparatus for cutting corrugated pipes to length
An apparatus for cutting corrugated pipes to length includes a clamping device configured to act radially with respect to an axis so as to fix a corrugated pipe in a machining position. The apparatus also includes a cutting tool moveable into an active position against the corrugated pipe in the machining position and configured to bring about a separation by moving the cutting tool and corrugated pipe relative to one another. A stop device is configured to engage in a corrugation trough of the corrugated pipe wherein a spacing between the cutting tool and stop device is variable in the axial direction with respect to the axis.
PLASTIC TUBE CUTTER
The plastic tube cutter comprises: a shell-body; a cutting-unit; and a pressing-arm; wherein the cutting-unit having a semicircular concave-arc end-face at one end is pivotally set in the shell-body; wherein four rolling-wheels corresponding to each other are spacedly set on two sides between the concave-arc end-face and the opening, and the other end of the shell-body has a gripping-arm; wherein the pressing-arm is pivotally set at the bottom of the shell-body and spaced apart from the gripping-arm to face with each other; wherein the four rolling-wheels of the semicircular concave-arc end-face are provided for accommodating a plastic tube body. In addition, a hooking-piece and a rod-body are respectively set on opposite sides of the gripping-arm and the pressing-arm to hook the hooking-piece and the rod-body. Therefore, maintaining the cutting freedom and the flat-smooth cutting, and cutting the high-thickness plastic tube body in a rotation way can be achieved.
Rollable ribbon separator
A rollable ribbon separator tool for separating fibers in a rollable ribbon, the rollable ribbon separator including a chassis having a length and a guide surface along the chassis length for receiving a first portion of a rollable ribbon in a flattened position, the guide surface for positioning the first portion of the rollable ribbon having a first node with selected fibers to be separated, the selected fibers being positioned flat on the guide surface. The rollable ribbon separator includes a blade securable to the chassis, the blade having a cutting edge positioned toward the guide surface at an acute angle to the guide surface. The angle of the blade cutting edge with respect to the guide surface allows the cutting edge to urge the first portion of the flattened ribbon fibers against the guide surface when the fibers are drawn through the chassis along the guide surface.
TUBE CUTTER WITH PRELOADS IN MULTIPLE DIRECTIONS
A tube cutter comprises a main body, a cutting member, a first elastic member and a second elastic member. The main body has a cutting space and a rail. The cutting member is engaging the rail for movement and has at least a portion protruding into the cutting space; wherein the cutting member has a first preload portion and a second preload portion. The first elastic member, which is received in the main body and engaged with the first preload portion, provides a first elastic force on the first preload portion which is parallel to a first normal direction thereby. The second elastic member, received in the main body and rested against the second preload portion, provides a second elastic force on the second preload portion which is parallel to a second normal direction thereby.
PIPE CUTTING DEVICE
A pipe cutting device includes a cutting element, a counter-holder, and a C-shaped working head. The counter-holder is formed by the working head and the cutting element protrudes into a C-opening. The working head merges into a foot part and the cutting element is accommodated in a displacement part. The displacement part is movably arranged with the cutting element in an offset part and/or the counter-holder has rollers, and each two rollers are mounted in pairs on a rocker part. A further pipe cutting device has an offset part and a counter-holder which are formed on a C-shaped working head, wherein the working head merges into a foot part which can also be used as a handle area, and the offset part can be offset relative to the foot part in order to change an opening width of the working head. In addition, the offset part has a cutting element.
Cutting tool
A cutting tool for cutting pipes of varying diameters includes a body having an opening extending along a predetermined axis through the body, and a cutting blade extending into the opening along a plane extending at right angles to the predetermined axis. The body includes a plurality of pipe support members, which are spaced from one another and configured to contact an outer surface of a pipe received by the tool, and a plurality of flexible connection members that connect the pipe support members to one another.
