Device for cutting foodstuffs
10220536 · 2019-03-05 · ·

The invention relates to a foodstuff-cutting device called a mandoline of the type comprising a moving blade support defining a cutting plane and moving in a reciprocating translational movement in relation to the foodstuff in accordance with an inverted configuration and having a sleeve associated with a plunger allowing foodstuffs to be inserted and kept in the pathway of the moving blade support remarkable in that it comprises a receptacle with a lid preformed with a passageway which, arranged transversely in relation to the travel of the moving blade support, receives a sleeve associated with the plunger thereby allowing food stuffs to be inserted and kept in the pathway of the moving blade support.

Cutting board assembly
10206540 · 2019-02-19 ·

A cutting board assembly with a rigid planar member, a circular segmented tray member, a plurality of supports, a plurality of non slip feet, a tray turning knob, a rotary bearing assembly and a food retaining curb. The planar member has an aperture matching the perimeter of one segment of the tray member. The tray turning knob is located at the center of the planer member. The rotary bearing assembly is mounted to the underside of the tray. The supports and non slip feet hold the rigid planar member up and prevent it from sliding during use. The food retaining curb is attached to either the left or right side of the rigid planar member, enabling a user to cut items and slide them into one of the tray segments and turn the tray so that a new segment of the tray is available for receiving additional cut items.

Spiral slicer

A spiral slicer for producing spiral-cut fruits and vegetables, includes a main body supporting a shaft operated by a crank handle. Rotation of the crank handle selectively moves a pusher, which attaches to a fruit or vegetable toward a set of julienne blades and a main slicing blade. The fruit or vegetable is cut by the julienne blades and then by the main blade, with the sliced portion passing through a gap positioned between the julienne blades and the main blade.

Mandoline slicer

A mandoline slicer includes a slicing blade between a runout ramp and a platen defining an adjustable slicing ramp. A set of cubing blades is selectively movable between extended and retracted positions, extendable through slots formed in the runout ramp. A pusher is configured for 90 degree rotational movement to allow perpendicular cutting by the cubing blades before slicing by a main blade.

Hand-held slicer

A hand-held slicing device having a handle connected to a slicing tray. The slicing tray includes a ramp leading to a fixed blade. The ramp is readily adjustable such that the height of the edge of the ramp most closely adjacent the blade can be raised or lowered. In one version, the ramp can be raised or lowered by sliding a support structure connected to a knob that can be slideably adjusted by the user's thumb. The device may include a series of julienne blades that are selectively extendable above the slicing ramp or retractable below the ramp.

Motorized spiral cutting device

A food spiral cutting machine includes a base, a drive unit, a screw, a cutter assembly and a locking device. The drive unit comprises a motor, a gearbox and an open drive nut. The gearbox comprises a planetary gear reduction group and a pair of bevel gears. A first bevel gear connects to the output of the planetary gear set, and the first bevel gear drives a second bevel gear which is provided with a spline inside the gear center hole. The first bevel gear meshes with the second bevel gear at right angle. An open drive nut rests on the underside of the screw. A screw is provided with a slot along the screw axis. The spline of the second bevel gear keys with the slot of the screw.

KNIFE ASSEMBLY WITH TAB BLADES AND METHOD OF FABRICATION

Knife assemblies having primary and secondary blades and at least one tab blade. The primary and secondary blades each have a corrugated shape as a result of defining a wave pattern that defines peaks and valleys. The primary and secondary blades each further having upper and lower surfaces, leading and trailing edges, and a depth defined by and between the leading and trailing edges. The upper surface of the primary blade and the lower surface of the secondary blade are complementary so that the secondary blade and the peaks and valleys thereof are able to nest on the primary blade and the peaks and valleys thereof. The secondary blade has at least one tab blade that projects from one of its peaks and is defined by a cut in the peak to form a tab that is bent so that the tab projects from the peak.

ADJUSTMENT STRUCTURE OF MULTI-FUNCTIONAL VEGETABLE CUTTER

Disclosed is an adjustment structure of a multi-functional vegetable cutter, including a cutting mechanism slidably moving in a housing. The cutting mechanism includes a frame and an upper cutting plane and a lower cutting plane that are disposed in the frame, a lower end of the upper cutting plane is provided with a parallel cutting blade, and an upper end of the lower cutting plane is provided with a first vertical cutting assembly. The first vertical cutting assembly includes a first blade bracket and first vertical cutting blades, a lifting frame is slidably disposed in the frame along a length direction, the lifting frame is provided with a pair of first lifting grooves, two ends of the first blade bracket are provided with blade bracket sliders that fit with the first lifting grooves and ascend or descend along a trajectory of the first lifting grooves.

MANUAL FOOD SLICING APPARATUS INCLUDING A RETRACTABLE BLADE ASSEMBLY
20240293947 · 2024-09-05 ·

A manual food slicing apparatus is provided for slicing a food material into food cuts. The apparatus includes a main blade and at least one blade set comprising multiple spaced apart blades being positioned in a row that extends in a transverse direction of a sliding area. The blades are moveable between a cutting position to perform longitudinal cuts in the food material upon sliding the food material against the blade set in a forward displacement direction, and a biased position when the blade set is retracted to avoid cutting the food material when displaced in a rearward displacement. The apparatus can further include a locking mechanism being selectively moveable between a locked position for preventing movement of the blades from the cutting position to the biased position, and an unlocked position for allowing movement of the blades between the cutting position and the biased position.
