SYSTEMS AND METHOD RELATED TO A FOOD-ITEM CUTTER AND ASSOCIATED COVER
Systems and methods are disclosed for cutting a food item when preparing it to be served to a customer. In some implementations, the cutting system may include a cover that may be used to at least partially surround a portion of a the cutting system. The cover may include one or more doors, drawers, or other movable components that may be used to engage the cutting assembly of the cutting system by activating one or more sensors located along or proximate to the path traveled by the movable component. The movable component may activate the sensor when the movable component has appropriately positioned the food item under the cutting assembly to be cut. Additionally, the cover may include one or more user-engageable switches that may be used to selectively engage cutting assembly when the movable component of the cover is appropriately positioned to be cut by the cutting assembly.
ACCELERATED CONVEYING DEVICE FOR PACK CUTTING MACHINE AND PACK CUTTING MACHINE
An accelerated conveying device for a pack cutting machine, adapted to convey a severed pack efficiently, comprises a conveying portion including a conveying body and an accelerated conveying element disposed at the conveying body, wherein the accelerated conveying element is disposed at the conveying body; and a receiving portion disconnectably connected to the conveying portion and including a receiving passage body and a through hole, with the through hole penetratingly disposed at a bottom surface of the receiving passage body and corresponding in position to the accelerated conveying element so as to be penetrable by the accelerated conveying element.
Food cutting assembly
A food cutting assembly for cutting a food item into a plurality of cubes includes a stand that may be positioned on a support surface. A box is coupled to the stand and a drawer is slidably positioned within the box. A plurality of cutting units is provided. A selected one of the cutting units is removably coupled to the box. The selected cutting unit may have a food item placed thereon and the selected cutting unit selectively cuts the food item. A press is movably coupled to the stand. The press is urged downwardly toward the selected cutting unit to press the food item through the selected cutting unit. Thus, the selected cutting unit cuts the food item.
Cutting Unit Comprising a Blade For Cutting at Least One Fiber, Particularly For Producing Fiber Preforms
A cutting unit includes a blade for cutting at least one fiber, particularly on a cutting support, and particularly for producing fiber preforms which are, in particular, a precursor in the production of fiber-reinforced plastic components. A guide device is arranged so as to guide at least one of either the blade or a cutting support which can be moved relative to the blade, along a linear path in order for cutting to take place. At least one such cutting unit is preferably used in a device for producing fiber preforms which are, in particular, a precursor in the production of fiber-reinforced plastic components. The device has at least one unwinding station for providing at least one fiber, and at least one gripper which can grip individual or a plurality of fibers at their front ends.
SLIDING DISC ASSEMBLY FOR FOOD PROCESSOR
A slicing disc assembly includes a work bowl, a driving shaft standing upwardly from the bottom of the work bowl, a gearbox base removably locked onto the work bowl, a gearbox cover affixed onto the gearbox base and thereby forms a housing, a gear rotatably disposed in the housing, and a spiral blade operatively disposed onto the gear. The gear is planetarily rotated via the engagement between gear teeth and the driving shaft, while the spiral blade rotates simultaneously and maintains relative same position with the gear during its operation.
FOOD PROCESSING DEVICE
A food processing device, comprising a bowl with a lid, the lid is provided with a food feed tube. The device also has a spiral cutting means provided at the top of the bowl such that as food enters the bowl via the food feed tube it is cut into continuous ribbons or strips. The spiral cutting means comprises a spiral cutter disc base having a disc-set with a plurality of different types of spiral cutting discs, each of which can be separately aligned with the food feed tube to cut the food into a different shaped continuous ribbon or strip. By rotating the spiral cutter disc base the user can line up a first cutting disc with the food feed tube, make some food cuts, then turn the spiral cutter disc base so that a second cutter disk is lined up with the feed tube and then make a different food cut. In this way the user can cut food into different sizes of ribbon, spaghetti, etc. to achieve a superior presentation of food (e.g. fruits and vegetables). The various cuts made possible with the device can also allow the user to be more creative in their food preparation and cooking.
PUNCHING DEVICE, SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
In a first punching mode, a control portion displaces a support member from a first-path-side end side to a second-path-side end side, and causes a first punching portion on the first-path-side end side to operate in a state where the support member has reached a first target position. In a second punching mode, the control portion displaces the support member from the second-path-side end side to the first-path-side end side, and causes a second punching portion on the second-path-side end side to operate in a state where the support member has reached a second target position. The first and second target positions are based on positions of the support member at points of time when edges on the first-path-side end side and the second-path-side end side are detected by the first sheet sensor and the second sheet sensor, respectively.
Tablet splitting apparatus
A tablet splitting apparatus includes a plate defining a vertical groove-shaped tablet passage, a catcher for holding a tablet moving downward through the passage at a splitting position, and a mechanism for splitting the tablet at the splitting position. A movable groove-depth defining member faces and covers an upstream part of the tablet passage. A sensor detects a tablet passing through the upstream part of the passage. A controller is responsive to the sensor to activate a mechanism to adjust the distance between the groove bottom surface of the tablet passage and the facing surface of the groove-depth defining member depending on the thickness of the tablet. The apparatus is configured to detect the driving current required to move the cutting blades to automatically determine a time to vary the moving speed of the blades and to release the tablet temporarily held at the splitting position, depending on the thickness of the tablet.
SMART DIE OUTPUT LANE ASSEMBLY
A die output lane assembly for receiving a blank through an opening of a die-cutter machine includes a frame, a support structure, and a memory device. The support structure is attached to the frame to form a lane and is configured to receive the blank from the opening of the die-cutter machine and temporarily store the blank in the lane. The memory device is configured to store data associated with the die output lane assembly thereon. The data includes at least one of a dimension of the die output lane assembly, a dimension of a cutting die of the die-cutter machine, a dimension of the blank, a pick position for removing the blank, a retraction path for removing the blank, a speed of part handling, or placement position data for storing the blank.
OPTICAL FIBER CUTTER
An optical fiber cutter that cleaves a part of an optical fiber, the optical fiber cutter comprising: an openable and closable clamp configured to hold the optical fiber, and a movable blade portion configured to scratch the optical fiber held by the clamp. The optical fiber cutter further comprises a scrape collection mechanism configured to collect scraps of the cleaved optical fiber. The scrape collection mechanism includes a case configured to accommodate the scraps, and a lid portion configured to open and close with respect to the case in conjunction with an opening and closing operation of the clamp.
