Log clamping device
A clamping device is described for clamping a log such as a log of wound material. The inventive clamping device addresses the need for more efficient or flexible clamping systems for logs of wound material that may vary in their diameter, wherein the clamping allows the logs to be cut by a cutting machine to sections of desired length.
Slitter with mechanical holding finger
A slitter for slitting a guide catheter is assembled from a handle, a blade assembly coupled to the handle, and a holding mechanism coupled to the handle. The blade assembly includes a shroud for receiving an elongated body of a medical device and a slitting blade having an exposed cutting edge to slit the guide catheter.
Pipe cutting device
A pipe cutting device includes: a body; a pipe fixing part disposed adjacent to a hollow hole of the body and capable of fixing a pipe; a rotating plate coupled to the body so as to be rotatable about a center axis of the hollow hole and connected to a first driving part to be rotationally controlled; a cam coupled to the rotating plate so as to be rotatable about a rotation shaft at a point spaced apart from the center axis; and a cutter part coupled to the rotating plate to rotate together with the rotating plate and to come into contact with the cam such that, according to rotation of the cam, a cutting tip moves forwards and backwards the center axis.
CONDUIT GRIPPER AND HAND GUARD, SYSTEM, AND METHODS OF USE
A conduit gripper and hand guard apparatus, system, and methods of use thereof that includes a two piece cylindrical gripper having a first grip member and a second grip member hinged therebetween to grip the conduit, a hand shield integral with said first grip member to shield the user's hand during cutting of the conduit, said hand shield formed with a slot therein, the slot positioned between a perimeter edge and an interior of said hand shield, and a saw stop protruding from said hand shield, and, thus, functions to be compact, enables gripping of the conduit for positioning and measurement, enables safe standup cutting of the conduit.
Cutting machine for strand-like material, to be cut
The invention concerns a device and a method for guiding a blade at a cutting end face of a guide tube by means of magnetic force in order to bring a cutting spacing between the blade and the cutting end face as close as possible. The magnetic force may be applied to the blade only towards the end of a cutting process of a slice, i.e. near a blade outlet side of a guide tube cross-section of the guide tube.
Method and apparatus for manufacturing natural fiber based staple fibers on a common surface
The application relates to a method and apparatus for manufacturing a natural fiber based staple fibers. The application further relates to the staple fibers, staple fiber based raw wool and products comprising such. A method comprises providing a cellulose suspension (101, 310, 510) including water, refined cellulose fibrils and at least one rheology modifier, directing the cellulose suspension through a nozzle (102, 320, 520) onto a surface (300, 400, 500), drying the cellulose suspension onto the surface (103, 300, 400, 500) for forming a fiber (350, 550), and cutting the cellulose suspension on the surface for forming staple fibers (105).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRIMMING CORES
A core end piece collector for handling cut off end pieces during processing of tubular cores has a carrying member and a catcher arranged on the carrying member. The catcher protrudes from the carrying member at an angle in relation to the longitudinal direction of the carrying member.
SLICING MACHINE
As a fast and compact slide drive for a gripper slide, a traversing unit such as a traversing traction element unit is provided.
LINEAR CUT TO LENGTH SYSTEM FOR INLINE PRODUCTION OF PROCESSED TUBING
A system for cutting medical tubing sourced from a spool of tubing uses two actuator groups that each reciprocate along a respective track, which are parallel to each other. Each actuator group has a clamp and a cutting tool which have an operative position along a common axis. The tubing is fed along the common axis to be operated on by the actuator groups. A forward actuator group clamps onto the tubing and is then moved along its track, pulling the tubing. A rearward actuator group then clamps onto the tubing and cuts the tubing. While still clamped onto the tubing, the rearward actuator group is moved forward, pulling more tubing, and the actuator group that was forward is moved to the rearward position and the process is repeated iteratively to produce tubing sections cut to the desired length. The tubing is pressurized and kept under pressure to straighten the tubing.
FLEXIBLE ELONGATED TUBE FOR A CATHETER SYSTEM
A flexible elongated tube for a catheter system includes a tubing wall. The wall has a plurality of first indentations spaced apart from each other along a longitudinal axis (L) of the tube and a plurality of second indentations spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal axis (L). An axially aligned pair of indentations has a non-impressed section between the axially aligned pair of indentations. The axially aligned pair of indentations and the non-impressed section form a pull wire space.
