Method and arrangement for handling narrow rolls
An arrangement in a warehouse and a method for forming narrow rolls are disclosed. The narrow rolls are formed from a jumbo reel. At least two slitting machines are used for forming the narrow rolls. The jumbo reel has an axial direction when positioned on the slitting machine. The narrow rolls are transferred to the warehouse in the axial direction. The at least two slitting machines are positioned overlapping.
BELT REEL AND ALSO BELT RETRACTOR HAVING A BELT REEL
A belt reel (14) for a belt retractor (10) has a rotational axis (R) and a reel body (16) that is provided as a reel for a webbing (24) and has a first axial circumferential circle (34). The reel body (16) further includes a radial constriction (32) having a second axial circumferential circle (36), wherein the constriction (32) is arranged centrally on the reel body (16) in the axial direction (A) and wherein the circumference of the second axial circumferential circle (36) amounts to a maximum of 95% of the circumference of the first axial circumferential circle (34). Moreover, a belt retractor (10) comprising such belt reel (14) is described.
SLICING MACHINE
In order to be able to implement a plurality of gripper functions acting independently of one another in a slicing machine without requiring a separate drive unit for each gripper function, a switching unit displaceable along an axial shifting distance is provided. Upon displacement of the switching unit along a first partial distance of a plurality of partial distances of the shifting distance, a caliber contact element is actuated in such a way that a caliber is pushed away from a caliber gripper, and upon shifting of the switching unit along a second partial distance, gripper claws of the caliber gripper are actuated in such a way that they are moved into an engagement position, in which they engage with the caliber, or into a release position, in which they release the caliber.
Method of slicing a food item and slicing mechanism employing a gripping element that generates a vacuum grip
A method of processing a food item that includes moving a food item along a direction towards an automated slicer, wherein prior to the food item being sliced by the automated slicer the food item that is being moved has a length, L, as measured along the direction. The method further includes determining a thickness, T, of a slice of the food item to be generated by the automated slicer and slicing the food item that has the length, L, by the automated slicer so that a maximum possible number, N.sub.max, of slices of the food item are generated that have the thickness, T.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Systems and methods for an automated device that reduces a footprint of a bottle by moving linearly moving and rotating the bottle, while a blade cuts a body of the bottle into a continuous strip.
WEIGHT VARIATION METHOD AND SLICING MACHINE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION
In order to maintain required average weight of an entire batch when slicing a loaf into slices and yet avoid underweighting individual slices, different reference weights are selected for critical areas depending on basic shape of the loaf, usually the two ends, than for the remaining area.
TRANCHEUSE DE PAIN OBLIQUE
A bread slicer comprising a loading compartment (6) adjacent to the front side (2) which is connected to a receiving compartment (7) situated near the rear side (3) of the bread slicer, an access opening (8) for placing a loaf of bread (16) to be sliced in the loading compartment (6) by a user who is positioned in front of the front side (2), a cutting member to cut slices off the bread (16) as it is moved between said compartments (6,7), a support surface (9) for the bread (16) extending in said compartments (6,7)
The support surface (9) is inclined at an angle (α) between 25° and 70° with respect to a horizontal line.
SLICING MACHINE HAVING A KNIFE MONITORING DEVICE
An electrically operated slicing machine cuts slices from material to be cut. The slicing machine has a slicing device, which includes an electric blade motor; a circular blade rotatably driven by the electric blade motor; and a carriage that is moved parallel to the circular blade to receive and move the material to be cut. A blade monitor monitors a condition of the circular blade. The blade monitor has a current measuring device that measures a blade motor current of the electric blade motor. A grinding monitor monitors a grinding process executed by a blade grinder.
SLICING OF FOOD PRODUCTS
The invention relates to an apparatus for the single-track or multi-track slicing of food products, in particular a high-performance slicer, having a product feed that feeds products to be sliced and disposed on a product support on one track or on multiple tracks in a feed direction to a cutting region in which a cutting blade moves, in particular in a rotating and/or revolving manner, in order to slice the fed products in a cutting plane, which extends perpendicular to the feed direction, at a predefined or predefinable cutting frequency by means of the cutting blade; and having a dividing device that has at least one holder, which is arranged in the region of the cutting plane, for at least one elongated separation element, which extends in a dividing plane extending in parallel with the cutting plane, and a drive for the holder by which the holder can be excited to perform to-and-fro movements perpendicular to the feed direction at a dividing frequency in order to divide the front ends of the products by means of the separation element in parallel with the feed direction so that, in a respective cutting process, a plurality of product parts are cut off from a respective front product end by means of the cutting blade, wherein a control device is provided, and wherein the drive for the holder comprises a drive that can be controlled by means of the control device, in particular a servomotor.
PIVOTING LOADING TRAY ASSEMBLY FOR FOOD PRODUCT SLICING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
A food product slicing apparatus is configured to slice food products into slices. A load assembly pivotally is mounted on a frame and a food product is positioned thereon. A drive assembly on the frame receives the food product from the load assembly and moves the food product relative to the frame. The load assembly can be positioned in at a first, lowered position relative to the drive assembly, a second, partially raised position relative to the drive assembly and a third, fully raised position relative to the drive assembly. The drive assembly engages the food product when the load assembly is in the third, fully raised position.
