Methods and systems for a waste management system
Systems and methods for an automated device that reduces a footprint of a bottle by moving linearly moving and rotating the bottle, while a blade cuts a body of the bottle into a continuous strip.
Method for selectively feeding rolls of paper coming out of a log saw unit and relative log saw unit
A method for selectively feeding rolls of paper coming out of a log saw unit (10), wherein the log saw unit (10) comprises (n) feeding channels (12) for feeding logs (11) towards a cutting device (13) provided at the outlet with (n) unloading belts (14) in a number equal to the feeding channels (12), comprises a step of generating a stop signal relating to a portion of a packaging unit downstream of the log saw unit (10) further to the detection of accumulation of rolls (11) and/or of stopping of a packaging machine, as well as a step of attributing said stop signal to a feeding channel/sub-group of feeding channels (12) operatively associated with the portion of the packaging unit, called feeding channels/sub-groups of feeding channels (12) subject to stopping, wherein the methodupon receipt of the stop signalcomprises at least the steps of: ending the cutting of the log (11) in progress on all of the (n) feeding channels (12) of the log saw unit (10), selectively stopping the forward movement of a new log (11) towards the cutting device (13) just in the feeding channels/sub-groups of feeding channels (12) subject to stopping through the stopping of the forward movement of the carriers (15) of the carrier device (16) of the feeding channels/sub-groups of feeding channels (12) subject to stopping, proceeding without interruption in the operative feeding channels (12), namely those not subject to the stop signal, with the cutting of the logs (11) in succession.
Bread cutting machine
A bread cutting machine for bread has a receiving surface for receiving the bread to be cut, wherein the receiving surface has a first edge and an opposite second edge, and defines a receiving plane; a cutting device with an array of cutting blades placed at or near the first edge of the receiving surface, wherein the array of cutting blades defines a first plane; and a pushing device configured for pushing the bread to be cut along the receiving surface in a pushing direction extending between the first and second edges of the receiving surface, towards and/or beyond the cutting device. The pushing device includes a push surface for contacting the bread to be cut during pushing thereof. The push surface and/or the first plane are at an acute angle with respect to the pushing direction.
FACER FOR END FUSION OF POLYOLEFIN PIPES
A facer facing the ends of polyolefin pipes for butt fusion is modular in the sense that it employs three types of modules, a drive unit, two blade holders and a motor assembly, that are separable from one another and each independently light enough to be hand-lifted along walls and up to ceilings. The drive unit module is adjustable to accommodate different guide rail spacings. The blade holder modules are interchangeable to accommodate different diameters of pipe. The motor assembly module has multispeed capability to accommodate the total area of material to be faced. Each module can be exchanged or modified without use of tools to change the geometry of the assembled facer to accommodate different fusion machines and/or diameters of pipe within working spaces dictated by the diameter of the pipe and not by a fixed geometry of a facer.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A SLICING MACHINE, AND SLICING MACHINE FOR SPACED STORAGE OF SLICES OF PRODUCT
A method for operating a slicing machine for cutting slices of product from a strand-shaped product to be cut, preferably food, having a cutting device comprising a circular blade that rotates on a cutting plane about an axis of rotation and is driven by an electric circular blade motor, having a carriage that carries a support plate for placing the product to be sliced and can be displaced at a carriage speed v.sub.s parallel to the cutting plane, and having a chain of a chain frame that is driven by an electric chain frame motor for transporting away cut slices of product at a transport speed VT and for depositing them on a receiving table or a conveyor belt, with a number n2 of strands of product to be sliced being placed parallel to one another on the support plate with their strand axes aligned.
Systems and methods of separating tubing sleeves from a tubing holder
A method includes selecting a cutting wheel assembly of a plurality of cutting wheel assemblies of a cutting system. Each cutting wheel assembly includes a different number of cutting blades. The method includes using a feed system to feed tubing toward the cutting system. The method also includes using the cutting system to cut the tubing concurrently at a plurality of locations to separate one or more subsections of tubing. The plurality of locations corresponds to a particular number of cutting blades of the selected cutting wheel assembly.
DISC CUTTING MACHINE HAVING A HOLDER FOR MATERIAL TO BE CUT
An electrically powered disc cutting machine for cutting off discs from in particular elongate material to be cut, preferably food, includes: a cutting device having a circular blade that rotates in a cutting plane about an axis of rotation perpendicular to the cutting plane and is driven by a blade motor. The cutting device includes: a carriage for carrying a carriage plate in a carriage plane perpendicular to the cutting plane and to carry at least one carriage wall that protrudes from the carriage plane; and a holder for material to be cut, the holder having a bearing surface for receiving the material to be cut and for bringing the material to be cut closer to the circular blade at an angle <90 relative to the cutting plane. The holder for material to be cut includes a fastening apparatus for fastening the holder for material to be cut.
METHOD OF SLICING A FOOD ITEM AND SLICING MECHANISM EMPLOYING A GRIPPING ELEMENT THAT GENERATES A VACUUM GRIP
A method of processing a food item that includes moving a food item along a direction towards an automated slicer, wherein prior to the food item being sliced by the automated slicer the food item that is being moved has a length, L, as measured along the direction. The method further includes determining a thickness, T, of a slice of the food item to be generated by the automated slicer and slicing the food item that has the length, L, by the automated slicer so that a maximum possible number, N.sub.max, of slices of the food item are generated that have the thickness, T.
